Whenever people ask if I have any recommendations for a real estate agent, I never hesitate to mention David and his team! They helped us buy our first house a few years ago and now have helped us sell it. Both times the process has been unbelievably smooth and easy! Selling a house can be stressful with a lot of moving parts and things to coordinate and I can honestly say we didn't feel stress at any point during the process. David and his team take care of EVERYTHING. They did a great job of laying out timelines, letting us know where we were at the in the process, and are amazing at communicating. If we did have questions or if certain things came up, David does a great job of explaining the why, giving you your options, and letting you make the decision. He never tries to tell you how to do things but he will impart his expertise and experience if asked. If you decide to use David to buy or sell you will never regret it!

Buying first home is never ever an easy task, even I would say that buying home is one of the biggest accomplishments and dream come true to me and our family. We were looking for a mid size home in our preferred locations considering nearby schools, amenities, safety and obviously in a nice and decent neighborhood. David and Sam helped us to sail through this journey specially during current real estate scenario, it is tough but they were patient enough, worked really hard to meet our requirements. Indeed, we bought our first home with David/Sam.

Sam and David, both are super professional, knowledgeable, experienced and the best part is they communicate really well, I can say that they are super prompt and response comprehensively. They were diligent, cognizant and respectful of our time. From the exteriors to the inside details, Sam was never tired explaining each items, questions, doubts and helped us navigating, keep feeding us relevant knowledge what I need to know as a home buyer.

End of the transaction, David and Sam they turned to our family friends and we can totally trust them on any of our real estate needs.

I absolutely recommend David and Sam for any of yours real estate requirements, buying, selling etc. whatever, they are single stop solution!

David’s help during the process of buying and selling was invaluable. After months of searching for the perfect home, it became clear that with the increased home values and decreased inventory, we needed to look elsewhere. David referred us to another realtor who was more familiar in the market in which we were looking. My wife and I very much respect that kind of honesty and commitment to us as buyers in this difficult real estate environment.
When we sold our Ballard townhome, David’s knowledge and expertise proved to us that we made the right decision in choosing a realtor. While we don’t plan to buy or sell any time soon, when we do, David will be the first on our list.

We bought AND sold with help from the Hogan team this year. We worked primarily with Sam Collins with David offering ideas and emotional support whenever we needed. Beyond the numbers, showings, and offers, it was, above all, an emotional process that they helped us through.
We were third-time buyers and this was the toughest market we've been in. Sam and David came through for us when we disagreed as a couple. David was like a couple's counselor, chiming in with his calm voice of support, instilling confidence in us. When we decided to move on something quickly, Sam took action and made it happen. She gave us a good read of people and situations after talking with listing agents.
On the listing side, Sam and David were particularly helpful during the pricing and the offer review process. We ended up getting a phenomenal 20% over asking thanks to them.
Together, Sam and David make a great team and we would recommend them to friends and family.

The market is tough right now for buyers and we made it even more difficult for David by wanting a house in a specific community which hadn't had a house for sale in months. Working with David (and his teammate Sam Collins) was fantastic! They helped us purchase a home in the crazy COVID housing market. One thing that we really appreciated about David was how down to earth he is. He really helped us set realistic expectations about this market and what it would take to get an offer accepted. He has a wealth of experience and proposed a number of strategies for us to increase the chances of having our offer accepted. Ultimately, our first offer was accepted and we were able to close on purchasing the house!

David and Sam were super communicative both during the house search and during the closing process. They provided weekly updates (at a minimum) on the process and responded to any questions very quickly. They really made the entire experience much smoother than we ever expected. We couldn't be happier with the experience of working with David and Sam and we'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home in the Puget Sound Area!

David is super easy to work with really knows the ins and outs of buying and selling a house (even during COVID). I've heard so many friends talk about how hard it is to get your offer accepted in this market and David helped me figure out which houses to look at how to structure an offer so I didn't have to go through the pain of making multiple offers. When it came time to sell my house, he had me so well prepared that I almost forgot I was selling until it was closing day. It's great to work with a realtor you trust, who not only has your best interest in mind, but also knows exactly how to get it for you.

I began working with David toward selling my home before the height of the pandemic hit--before anyone knew how broad and severe of an impact it might have. Midway through prepping the house for sale, we were put under a stay home order and my sale process was in serious doubt. David didn't bat an eye. He kept me updated weekly--daily, sometimes--on market trends, keeping me on pace to sell when doing so made sense. Based on his high judgment and timing acumen, I listed just in time to hit the market when buying activity was ticking up, but inventory also wasn't yet fully available, so my home was in high demand. I had multiple offers and David negotiated expertly to get me the best deal I could (above asking!). I couldn't recommend his services and expertise enough!

David worked with us for several weeks to find and view (safely, of course, during COVID-19) 4 or 5 different properties that fit our list of qualifications. He communicated with us daily (or more than daily when needed) to update us on new homes coming on the market and made sure we got in to see them ASAP. When we didn't like a home as much as we had hoped, he helped figure out the best way to move forward. When the time finally came that we found a house we loved, David made sure our offer got in as fast as possible and that we came out on top of competing offers that all came in within 24 hours of listing. He also set us up with a great lender and made sure the closing went smoothly. Hopefully we don't have to deal with the real estate market again anytime soon, but if we do we'll call David first!

Despite the uncertainty and increased restrictions that covid19 brought, the market was still incredibly competitive. David was there every step of the way tp update us on what new laws/rules have changed and make sure our minds were at ease. He also knows how to structure a competitive offer, which ultimately was the reason we were able to get out house! I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a house in the Seattle area.
