For over 18 months, Diane Gavin worked patiently and tirelessly with me to find a new home. She listened closely to my wants and needs, always had time for my questions, and made me feel like I was her only client. When the right house came along, shortly before Christmas no less, she guided me every step of the way through the many, many, many details that need to be addressed in both buying the new home and selling the old. She is the ultimate professional and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the real estate business. In addition, her go to team of professionals are top notch. I highly recommend Diane for all of your real estate needs!

If only allowed one word to describe her, I will say "Professional", which was my first impression, and she remained professionalism throughout the entire process.

My case(a sub-Million$ single-family brand-new home): she represented me as the relocation seller's realtor. I could feel she put her efforts to make the selling process as simple & necessary as possible for me, which makes my life (of course, as well as her life) easier. To me, Diane Gavin is a "risk-free" seller's agent, because she defended all my rights and I could tell she understand people's needs, e.g. what buyers' (of course, as well as me as seller's) priorities are. The most important is, she understands market.

To be fairly speaking, I cannot say she would guarantee you to get the dream house at lowest market value or sell yours at highest, but she strongly believe your house's true value, and can help you to sell it well. If I want to own a good house in her area again before her retirement, I will contact her first.

I have worked with several different real estate agents over the years and Diane is by far the most professional. She provided a strong skill set to market the property. With her professional guidance, my home sold very quickly and above asking within days of listing. Her honesty, integrity and knowledge base is superb. She was was very easy to reach whenever we had questions and never rushed us. She definitely was MY advocate during the entire process of selling, then renting back and during the final inspection with the new owners. I have never recommended an agent before, but I highly recommend Diane because she definitely stands above the rest!

12/04/2014 - vcmmcm Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $475K in Chestertown, MD. We have used Diane several times when purchasing a home and renting out a condo in the DC area. I have been amazed by how much she knows about the market and what it will take to actually purchase a property. We have used other Realtor's in the past, and most have no idea of what is happening in the area besides for the property they are marketing (and sometimes not even much about that one). In fact if you ask her a question she knows the answer about the house and the whole neighborhood. What has sold, what is on the market, the anomalies, and what you can reasonably expect to pay. After having a condominium sit empty for several months Diane was able to produce a renter the first day she listed the property eliminating a big head ache for us. (ps - never buy a condo) Diane is a dedicated representative and has always provided us with a professional representation and accurate assessment of the situation. A house is just a house until you get to know it, and believe me I do not like hidden defects or surprises. Diane will give you a house that you can be sure is as stated and how it stacks up with the neighborhood and the community as a whole; and will become your home not just a house.
