Elizabeth Sheeran

Elizabeth Sheeran's extensive knowledge of the many neighborhoods in Chicago and Northwest Indiana is matched only by her keen understanding of the ever-changing real estate market. With two decades' experience helping buyers and sellers attain their property goals, her reputation as an expert negotiator precedes her. While trends may change over time, one constant remains: Sheeran never fails to exceed clients' expectations due to her unwavering commitment to their happiness.

Her enthusiasm for the industry remains as fervent as when she first entered it. A southside native, Sheeran earned a business marketing degree before beginning her career under the mentorship of a seasoned broker. Her exposure to all aspects of real estate transactions ignited her passion for the profession, which prompted her to earn her REALTOR® license. She then played a significant role in developing and selling more than 100 new construction units, closely collaborating with architects, reviewing contractor bids, and assisting buyers in selecting the perfect finishes for their new home.

Sheeran is licensed in Illinois and Indiana. She specializes in downtown Chicago and the south and western suburbs of Illinois. In Indiana, she specializes in Northwest Indiana and all of the quaint beach communities along Lake Michigan.

Many of Sheeran's clients are referrals. This is because they appreciate her in-depth understanding of property construction which enables her to see homes not simply as they are, but as they could be. Furthermore, her love of fixer-uppers means she is highly skilled in cost-assessing renovation projects and estimating the time necessary to complete them. In fact, she is married to a civil engineer who also happens to be a custom home builder. They previously flipped properties, but Sheeran now helps clients design the one-of-a-kind properties her husband develops.

Much of what continues to inspire her about real estate is the investigative aspects of it that require asking the right questions, collecting and analyzing the necessary data, and guiding those who depend on her to make an informed decision. In addition, Sheeran takes great pleasure in knowing that no two days will ever be the same, which means she is never bored and, that said, excited about what the future will bring. Her commitment to the industry and the people she serves are why she stayed the course when the real estate market plummeted during the 2008 recession, even when many of her colleagues opted to choose a different profession.

A member of the National, Indiana, and Chicago Association of REALTORS® as well as the mother of three, Sheeran believes that real estate is – and should be – fun. She learned this lesson early in life thanks to her father, who also rehabbed houses and taught her how to make household repairs. This kind of close-knit bond that she now enjoys with her own family is what she envisions for those she helps find a place to call home, and for her, this means making a difference in others' lives.
