About Emily

Emily is one of the few lefts, natives, to the beautiful coastal community. She was born and raised here in Wilmington, NC. Many fond memories going to Carolina Beach or driving up to Topsail to hang out with family. In 1998, she Graduated from JT Hoggard High. After high school she earned her Associates degree at Cape Fear Community College. After several sales jobs she landed her first career in finance working at Scottrade, Inc as a stockbroker. While she worked full-time, she attended night school at Mt Olive College. Emily graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and got married the same year! While her 16 years at the firm, she learned advanced option/stock trading, helping clients with their investments along with financial goal planning. After several mergers, her position was eliminated in 2020. While one door closes another one opens. She absolutely loves being a Realtor! Her kids would say she is so much happier with her new career and she would have to agree.
