About Eric

Eric Wright was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado where he graduated from Boulder High School and went on to earn undergraduate degrees in Italian literature and English from Stanford University. He worked in book and magazine publishing for over 13 years, first as a book acquisitions editor at University of California Press (Berkeley), Westview Press (Boulder) and Harper Collins (Basic Books) in New York City. He then went on to become advertising director at Poets & Writers Magazine in New York City, where he worked to redesign the magazine for greater national and newsstand presence. He also served as part of the management group for Poets & Writers, Inc., a longstanding non-profit group supporting the writing trade. While living in NYC, Eric published poems in several literary magazines.

Eric began his career in real estate in 2003. He is lucky to have the absolute best clients who energize his work and who come primarily from referrals. With a focus on Boulder and Boulder County, he specializes in residential real estate, investment property, & land/lot sales. His primary goal in real estate is making sure his clients... get ECSTATIC about where they live.

Eric lives in Boulder with his wife, Kim, and their three children Jade (nine), Miles (seven), & Bo (three). Life is not boring. He thought about tornado-chasing as a career; however, he does this now on an unsolicited daily basis by chasing after Bo aka "The Tornado." His children are ebullient beyond belief, vibrant and full of life and wisdom. Eric is passionate about playing squash, "the most exciting sport on the planet." After casually re-entering the sport in 2005, Eric began playing in regional/statewide tournaments and in the past years has traveled around the U.S. to play in tournaments in Chicago, San Francisco, and more recently to the U.S. Squash Nationals in Philadelphia. He also began training for squash by running in the Boulder foothills, which has led to a new intrigue for trail running. Eric, along with his wife Kim, recently completed the Imogene Pass Run (in Ouray/Telluride, CO), where he discovered that his wife is still a lot faster than he.
