A true Southerner, Erica was born in Alabama and moved to the Augusta, GA area in 1980 when her father, a member of the military, was transferred to Fort Gordon. In 1982, her family settled in North Augusta, SC, and, aside from a brief time in Bluffton, SC, Aiken County has been her home ever since.
