Fleur is simply the best. From our first discussion when she told me it didn't matter if we saw one house or one hundred, she would help me every step of the way. And she did! We found the perfect home at an amazing price. She's a tireless negotiator and helps with everything from the inspection to the financing to her recommended contractors. I miss going out with her to look at houses.....but I'm thrilled with the home we found. Fleur is wonderful....and loads of fun too!!

If you are trying to buy in the DC area and need a realtor (trust me you do) then Fleur is who you want to hire. She is super nice very responsible (phone, text or email), and had no problems keeping a hectic schedule for us to view properties. I do mean hectic, with us seeing over 25 properties in 3 days. Not one single complaint for her, but she did provide a wealth of information and honesty. Once we finally settled on our new home, Fleur made sure the process went off without a hitch and just over a month later we closed. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to work with such a kind and knowledgeable person. If I buy in the area again, I know where my first call will be.

My wife and I absolutely loved working with Fleur! We were first-time buyers, and she helped demystify the home-buying process for us. Fleur doesn't blow smoke; she's blunt and not afraid to speak her mind about a house she thinks is over-valued, a definite plus for anyone, especially first-time buyers like us.

Because of our work schedules, we did a lot of the home-searching and -buying process after hours and over weekends. Regardless of when we reached out, Fleur was always responsive, even giving up parts of her vacation to help us buy our home. She goes above and beyond with recommendations for home inspectors, contractors, etc., and her knowledge of life in Capitol Hill is off-the-charts.

My fiancé and I were also first-time home buyers, so we were especially grateful for her experience and how she was able to clearly explain everything to us. Fleur was by the far the best thing to happen to us during our home-buying experience. From the initial process of hearing about what our “must-haves” in a house were, through sending us (almost every day for a few months) homes popping up on the market, through showing us nearly 10 different homes safely during a public health emergency, through finally signing on many dotted lines, Fleur was our trusted, professional advocate at every step of the way.

First, Fleur understood our needs, which admittedly changed as we look at more houses, and adapted to them. She constantly updated us about trends in the market, sent us listings from both her agency and other agencies, vetted listings that we sent to her, and helped us select the ones that were worth taking a second look at. Through this process, she was regularly in touch by phone and email. We were actually in Puerto Rico during a significant part of our home search process, but Fleur made it feel like we were in DC.

Second, Fleur showed us at least 10 different homes, including some homes multiple times. In fact, she sometimes would go to the homes by herself and then FaceTime us DURING THE PANDEMIC. There she was, by herself, walking through a quiet Capitol Hill home, pointing out the pros and cons to us on a video chat. Once we got to DC, she showed us many homes in person. She was patient with us, gave us the pros/cons, waited outside with us while other folks were going in and out of the house, and blissfully managed the process so we could quickly go from one house to the next without wasting much time in between.

Third, Fleur is a kind, funny, and trustworthy person. She’s someone that we genuinely enjoyed spending time with. Also, a professional that will honestly answer the question “Why shouldn’t I buy this house?” is a keeper, even when it means you eventually buy the house.

Finally, in the buying process, Fleur was an absolute godsend. She convinced us to write a letter to the sellers of our dream home and took the time to read it before we sent it to the sellers. We didn't think it would make a difference, but it ultimately did! We were told by the sellers’ agent that they accepted our offer even though it was slightly lower than the highest offer, in part, BECAUSE OF THE LETTER. That's the kind of attention to detail that Fleur brings to the table. It's why she is special, and it’s just one of many reasons that we wholeheartedly recommend Fleur without any reservations.

We would buy 10 more houses with her if we could.

Specifically, she did an excellent job of walking me through the process of being a first time home buyer in a market with which I was unfamiliar, she gave me fantastic guidance related to getting my credit in order and selecting the right mortgage, and otherwise took care of me at every stage of the buying process.
