At the state level, Greg was chairman of the California Assoc. of REALTORS® (CAR) Professional Standards Committee in 2000 and has served continuously on CAR's board of directors since 1989 until 2022. In 2002 he chaired the State Association's Communications Advisory Committee and in 2007, the Issues Mobilization Political Action Committee, which fights to protect our private property rights and also the Land Use and Environmental Cmte. in 2011. At the state level, Greg is one of the ombudsman that handles disputes for consumers and REALTORS® statewide. 2009 marked the third year in a row as chairman of the Professional Standards Committee for the Santa Clara Co. Assoc. of REALTORS®, with oversight over the ProStands Dept. including; Ombudsman, Mediation, Grievance, Ethics Hearings, Arbitration Hearings (i.e., money disputes) and Board of Director's Reviews.
