Having worked in a variety of industries, from athletic coaching and claims to restaurant management and homeowners insurance underwriting, there has always been one common denominator—working with people. Helen grew up in Albemarle County and went to UVA, graduating in 2000 with a BA in U.S. government. Married to Matt, a Battalion Chief with Albemarle County Fire Rescue, they have two children who keep them running with a million activities. In their downtime you may find them in a kayak going down the Rivanna or at Chris Greene Lake. They have lived in Earlysville for more than 10 years, loving the perfect blend of country and strong sense of community found there.
