We inherited my parent’s property after their passing and had held onto it for several years trying to
figure out what to do with it. After going through several groups of renters, my brothers and I realized
we did not want to be landlords and began interviewing agents to sell our property. James was referred
to us through another friend of ours who had bought with him in the past and they spoke highly of him.
We did our due diligence and interviewed him and 3 other agents to see who we thought would be best
suited to handle the sale. There was a lot to factor in on our side as well as the emotional attachment
we all had to the home, being that we grew up there! I have to say, James came fully prepared to
answer any and all questions we had and he had worked with estates in the past and all the extra
paperwork/title issues that come with it. He gave us a few names of past clients he had done this for
and they all spoke very highly of his work on both the buyer facing end but also the back end paperwork
that is crucial to these types of sales. On top of all that, his marketing and pricing strategy were just
simply better and more straightforward than the other agents we had interviewed. I’m glad we went
with James as he had us on market faster than we anticipated to beat these crazy rate hikes that buyers
are now seeing and we had 5 offers after the 1 st weekend on market. We ended up getting $30,000 over
our list price and the transaction went smoothly from there. We were very happy with the end result
and I highly recommend James due to his sense of urgency, straightforward approach to marketing, and
his transparency when it came to the whole process. In fact, I just referred him to another friend of ours
who is looking to sell!

James did a stellar job helping my elderly parents sell their home of fifty plus years. He was extremely friendly from the get go and his confidence and knowledge made us all feel at ease during a complicated time in our lives due to my parents’ health issues. He was responsive to the many questions our family had and went out of his way to provide information and advice needed for the entire home selling process. His frequent emails and phone calls were greatly appreciated. If my Mom had questions or didn’t understand something, if needed, he would show up at her new home to help. In preparing to put their home on the market, James not only provided detailed lists of what needed to be done, but also recommended competent professionals to contact for solutions (and at times actually showed up to do the work himself)! We could not have asked for a better realtor. James is smart, engaged, trustworthy, and hard working, and we would highly recommend him to anyone considering buying or selling a home.

From a title company perspective, I would work with James again and again and again! He kept his clients well informed, was very proactive and helpful with required documentation and title resolution!
