About John
John Bevilacqua, Broker/Owner and Founder of The Property Shop has been in the real estate business for almost 17 years and earned his Broker’s license over 13 years ago. Specializing in investment and residential real estate, John has sold over $500MM in real estate over his career and has the expertise necessary not only to assist his clients but also to assist the agents within his office.
He holds regular A.P.R.E.P Certified training and coaching sessions with his agents to ensure they are all as well trained as he is so they can serve their clients at an expert level. He is also a certified coach for the Internationally renowned Craig Proctor real estate and marketing coaching program, where John coaches multiple agents across the U.S. and Canada.
He is passionate about helping his agents develop their skills and master every aspect of the real estate business ensuring all of his firm’s clients receive the best level of service he
would provide himself.
As a Broker and entrepreneur, John designed and founded The Property Shop due to the shortcomings of the classic real estate model that suffers from massive brand confusion and homogenized services. John is committed to providing his agents with efficient systems, leadership, training, and fostering a high-energy motivational atmosphere. The success of his agents is his success, and nothing makes him happier than to see his team succeed. He takes his responsibility as a Broker/leader seriously and has become one of the best trained in the business. He has also completed training with some of the industry’s leading REALTORS®, Brokers, and best-known trainers. He is equipped with the expert knowledge to guide and coach his agents in any specialty they wish to develop and to assist his clients in all of their real estate endeavors.
John and his office are members of the Greater Capital Association of REALTORS® (GCAR), the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), and the Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Board (CIREB) of the Capital Region as well as the Mohawk Valley Association of Realtors (MVAR). John also serves on the Board Of Directors for GCAR and is involved in multiple committees and decision-making at the board level. John believes that being a REALTOR® is about more than professional associations, he believes that REALTORS® should be involved in the communities where they work. John helps the community by volunteering and donating to Habitat for Humanity and Upstate NY Cerebral Palsy. To date, The Property Shop has donated over $25,000 to charity and donates a portion of each commissioned real estate sale to charitable organizations.
