About John

John is currently the Principal Managing Broker/ Owner of The Stamps Real Estate Company and they currently have a team of 14 agents. He received his Real Estate license in 1995 and broker’s license in 2002 and currently hold GRI, CRS, and CRB designations. He has served on different committees over the years thru the Memphis Association of Realtors; The Grievance Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee and I was a Tennessee Association of Realtors Director and past Vice President Director of The Memphis Area Association of Realtors.

His community involvement includes; past Chairman for the Board of Zoning affairs for the town of Collierville and a Graduate of Leadership in Collierville where he held a seat on the board of Directors after graduation. I has also participated in and currently support Habitat for Humanity. He helped start the Memphis D.A.D.S group (Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome) an empowering organization for Dads with children of Down Syndrome and he is currently a Chairman for this wonderful organization. Continued Community involvement is very important to John, that is why he currently serves on the Collierville Planning Commission Board, Collierville Historic Commission, the Memphis Area Association of Realtors Governmental Affairs Committee, Board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis, Main Street Association in Collierville and he is also a Member of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors Multi Million Dollar Club.

He has been married to my wonderful wife Kathy and they have 2 beautiful children, Brooke and Thomas. They are also long term family members of Central Church in Collierville. He attended Memphis State where I was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and he has a passion for Deep Sea Fishing and Real Estate. He loves spending time with his family and friends at the lake enjoying water sports and the wonderful beautiful Mid-South weather.
