Jose Fernandez is the Team Leader of The One Team @ Keller Williams Realty in Miami, Florida. Jose is a native of Puerto Rico and chose South Florida for his home 20 years ago because of the wonderful year-round weather, tropical sites as on his home island, nightlife, cultural events and the diversity of people.
Fluent in both English and Spanish with some knowledge of Italian, Jose Fernandez boasts an international clientele, with a particular emphasis on the Caribbean, Central and South America, and Western Europe. With a master's degree from Florida International University's School of Hospitality Management (FIU), and his 20 years of customer service experience, Fernandez is committed to personalized service and exceeding clients' expectations.
Jose is a Graduate of the Seniors Real Estate Institute and became the first Certified Senior Housing Professionals (CSHP) in Miami-Dade and Broward County. He holds several other designations which allow him to provide better service for his customers and be an invaluable asset and resource for them: Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), among others.
Florida Realtors® named Jose Fernandez as its 2016 Humanitarian of the Year, proving that Realtors make a difference in their communities. Jose has been involved in humanitarian efforts since he was a child living in Puerto Rico. He began sponsoring several children through Children International in 2001 and assists an orphanage with 33 children with HIV/AIDS in Honduras for more than 10 years. Over the years, he has traveled on missionary trips to Uganda, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. In his local community, Jose is active in his church, working with several of its ministries and support groups year around.
