She has also taken an active role in philanthropy and community outreach serving several non-profit organizations as executive director, board president and director of development in support of education, the arts and community programming. Karen lives with her husband and two children in South Burlington, where she has resided for over twenty years. Her son recently graduated from Champlain College and her daughter is a Junior at Endicott College. Karen has been an active volunteer for over fifteen years in the South Burlington School district, City of South Burlington and St. John Vianney Church. Karen enjoys walking, hiking, gardening and traveling. Additionally, she enjoys attending her children's sporting events and spending time with friends and family!
