In the summer of 2022, I decided to buy a second property for investment. Finding an agent was the easy part. Kashif Rasul of Samson Properties is my go-to person. In November 2018, Kashif Rasul did a fantastic job, to find me my first property. Kashif Rasul did not disappoint this time too. During the summer months of 2022, he worked tirelessly, to find me the right property in the right neighbourhood. Together we made numerous site visits. Since, I’m quite cynical, when buying property, I gave Kashif Rasul a tough time. Throughout the process he remained available and promptly responded to my inquiries. Thanks to Kashif Rasul’s resolve and persistence we selected a property on October 21, 2022. And within a month successfully conducted the Closing. But hold on. The weeks before the Closing were a pain in the neck. Dealing with the Lender is a whole different leval. Too many inquiries and demands for documents was very challenging. But then Kashif Rasul again raised his game to make certain everything rolls smoothly. I’m amazed at Kashif Rasul’s professionalism and subject-matter knowledge. I already know where to look next time I get the opportunity to buy or sell property. Kashif Rasul is the only one I would recommend if asked to recommend a real estate agent.

By way of background, I am a first-time home buyer. I had no idea about the process whatsoever when I first started taking a look at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. I also work in the financial industry and am very aware that it is wildly important to ensure that: (1) your clients have the necessary information to make informed decisions (whether small or big, like purchasing a house); and (2) that their expectations are established appropriately and met. Kashif Rasul exceeded in both aspects.

The amount of effort and time Kashif put into walking me through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, Kashif spent their entire evening walking me through the “big picture.” From there on out, Kashif were always available to provide me with the information that I needed (or didn’t need, but needed for the sake of my sanity) – every decision that I made, small or big, mattered to them. Not only did I feel like I had all the information I need to make those decisions, but I also felt like I was in good hands. Especially because, as a first-time buyer, I didn’t know all of the right questions I should be asking (or do’s and don’ts, for example) and they would proactively provide this information, which made me feel like I was walking through this process with eyes wide open. From an expectations perspective, I don’t know how Kashif does it – and to the fault of everyone else I worked with – Kashif set my expectations really high and not unrealistically high because they would meet them.

Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested as well in buying a home, having someone who properly set, managed, and came through with: expectations was such a lifesaver and made me feel so at ease throughout the entire process. And on a related note, as a first-time home buyer, I’m not sure what to expect, what’s good/bad, etc., and Kashif was always so candid and provided his own perspective of different aspects of each home that she thought would be relevant to my decision making based on what he had learned about me. I truly appreciated his input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it, but, IMO, it is crucial to keep those around that do. It’s easy to push paper and get the signatures, but they are really focused on making sure people are satisfied through the process and with the outcome. Again, for a first-time home buyer, this process is very stressful. Yes, there are a number of things that people can do to make it easier. But as you can see, based on the above, kashif Rasul went above and beyond (as I’m positive they do with all of their clients) and truly made me feel like I had a confidant/partner throughout.

I’m one of the first of my friend group to buy a house, so there were no – “well what do you think” or “what feedback did you have in your experience” talks – except with Kashif. And that’s not in their job description, and it truly makes me consider them not just an agent, but a friend. Overall, I would strongly recommend kashif Rasul to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, especially if they are first-time homebuyers. I would trust them with my eyes closed and their attention to detail and level of time/dedication to their clients is outstanding.

Despite limited availability, Kashif was extremely resourceful in finding a perfect house for me and my family to rent in Ashburn, VA. Since I was new to the area, the ideal location of residence would be half way between my work and my children's school. I contacted Kashif in February 2021 to buy our first home in what was a very competitive market. Kashif explained the market conditions and kept our expectations in check. My wife and I would search through listings and send Kashif the ones we liked. He quickly setup appointments to see the homes as homes were usually off the market in a week. We discussed how we would structure our offer for each of the properties. We ultimately expanded our search area due to market availability. We found our home in a Manassas neighborhood which Kashif had worked in before. He was able to help us set a realistic offer price and we were able to keep the final sales price reasonably close. Mr. Kashif really helped me through this entire process, and ensured we were able to find the dream house in a reasonable time. He made sure we were able to set up appointments for all the houses we wanted to go and look.
Buying a house is really a very extensive process but Mr. Kashif really made it easy from his end. Just like any first time buyers we were not familiar with the process and was very nervous about this entire process. All the credit goes to him for really doing an awesome job in explaining the entire process and helping us in each and every single step.
