I am Katrina Shimer, a Southwest Florida Realtor, and a true Naples local with deep roots in this community. I have lived in Naples since I was four years old, and my knowledge of this area comes from more than maps, market reports, and MLS data. It comes from growing up here, watching the area change, knowing the neighborhoods, understanding the schools, learning the back roads, and seeing how each community has developed over time. Southwest Florida is not just where I work. It is where I grew up, raised my family, built relationships, and created a life.
Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I am a second-generation local real estate professional, raised by a real estate broker and a general contractor. That combination gave me a unique perspective early on. I learned to look at property from more than one angle. I learned how location, structure, condition, land, neighborhood trends, flood zones, insurance concerns, resale potential, and lifestyle all come together to affect a buyer or seller’s decision. I grew up around conversations about homes, lots, construction, repairs, negotiations, and the details that most people do not notice until they become expensive.
Before becoming a full-time Realtor, I spent many years as a teacher. That background still shapes the way I work with my real estate clients today. I believe people make better decisions when they are informed, prepared, and supported.
