As a renter for my entire life, when it came down to finally looking for, and then buying a home, in the midst of a pandemic, Clint was incredibly patient, helpful, and sympathetic, always keeping tabs on interest rates and providing guidance. I started working with Clint in spring 2021 and two years later am finally settling into my new home in Luray. I'm a first time home buyer and had every question and concern you could think of. Clint took me on as a client and was friendly and knowledgeable as well as looking out for my best interests. If he saw damage or anything with a house he would let me know so we could address it. He was always a phone call or text away and always had a moment to answer a question. And when it came time to work with a seller, he communicated everything I wanted like offer, repairs, inspections, etc.
If I ever move I will definitely be using him again.

Clint worked with us to find the place we were looking for. He went above and beyond what most realtors would do, showing patience and sincerity the entire time. The Deskins Group has a great web site that gave us updates on newly posted houses even before they officially hit the market. Always on time, always enjoyable, and very knowledgeable he provided the service we needed, even putting the search on hold while I had a hip replacement. If he didn't have the answer for a question we had he would find out and get back to us later. He never lost site of our long term goals and my wife and I are so grateful for every thing he did, right down to being there for the closing, days after becoming a father again. We have nothing but praise for the help he gave us to find our new home.

I found working with The Deskins Group to be a great experience. As anyone looking for a home knows, it can take time to find the right property. Well, for six months, during the heat of the housing market, we placed multiple offers. We watched our strong offers fall to other buyers willing to pay even more and included no contingency offers. Throughout, the process Clint remained diligent patient and available. After these six months, we got an offer to stick. Well, due to circumstances beyond the control of The Deskins Group or the buyer, we found ourselves in a three month closing exercise. Again, throughout the process Clint remained diligent, patient and available. Then a little over ninety days since the offer had been taken, we were at the closing table. The closing went extremely smooth and I became a happy new home owner in the Shenandoah Valley. My main take away from my Shenandoah Valley home shopping experience is (as you can tell since this is my third time saying it) you have to have an agent that is knowledgeable, diligent, patient and available. I found these traits to be the strong threads in the fabric of The Deskins Group. Thank you for assisting me in finding the perfect new home!

I worked with Katie for over a year looking for a piece of property to hunt on. She was always available for me, answered all my phone calls, reached out to everyone to set up times to view properties, met me at all of these places we walked in 2 different states. She was able to give me options to use for land lenders with a loan. She was always looking out for my best interest & making sure that I got everything I was paying for. She was able to work a deal out with the owner of the property I purchased for me to get double the amount of property for half of the asking price. During all of this she kept me in the loop daily/hourly & stayed aggressive to make my family's dreams of owing land happen. There were problems with our initial lender which required us to change lenders, and this pushed the closing date back a couple weeks. Clint went the extra mile for us, literally. We were in Pa and we wanted to look at a property in WV. We had to have an offer that day. We couldn’t get down to see it. Clint drive a couple hours in the rain and video taped the property so we could take a look. It allowed us to at least put an offer in. We did not get that property because we were out bid that day. Thanks to Katie I now have my own little place! Honestly, this process is really stressful but KATIE MADE IT SO EASY. She was always a phonecall away or a text message, no matter the how late(and I'm talking about really late hours) she had time for me.

Let me tell you about Clint Deskins,
Being in the military and DOD for the past 23 years I've moved around a lot! When I got transfered here, I was able to come up here to look for a place to RENT but I only had two days to do so. Clint went out of his way and mapped all of the locations that I wanted to see. Showed me what was good about the house and the city that it was in. He even showed me the local grocery store! So, I found an amazing place thanks to Clint's persistence on contacting the listing agent until we got an appointment for a showing.
I left and went home to pack up my belongings to move. After a long 21 hour drive, Clint meet me at my new place at 8 PM to walk through the house to make sure everything was okay and addressed any problems!
The Deskins group is hands down the best realtor group I've ever worked with! I highly recommend buying, selling and even rent your next home with them, you won't regret it!
