My route to a career in real estate in the Durham-Chapel Hill area has been a great adventure. It has taken me from London, England, where I was born and raised, to France, Germany, Lebanon, Greece, Saudi Arabia , Portugal and to Hong Kong where my two lovely children were born. I moved with my family to Chapel Hill 28 years ago and have lived in the Triangle area ever since. I am now a resident of Durham and really enjoy all the great restaurants, festivals and cultural activities that this fast-changing city has to offer.
While living abroad I became skilled at adapting to each city and country and learned to make everything from a small new house in a compound in Saudi Arabia to a historic house in Hong Kong into a home. It was always a thrill, but also stressful, to move from one completely different culture to another and the move to the pace of life in the southern U.S. from vibrant, bustling, noisy Hong Kong was no different. I therefore understand very well how challenging it can be to relocate, whether it is within a city or across the world and I look forward to assisting my clients to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
I enjoy working with the academic community in the Triangle as I have degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State and worked at Duke for 15 years before changing careers to become a Realtor. Given my international background I also became a Certified International Property Specialist to better serve international clients.
