Purchasing a house can be an overwhelming process. Therefore, it is important to have a knowledgeable real estate agent who can help put your mind at ease during the home buying process. Katrina was patient with me as I was determining if buying a house was a good decision for me. When I was ready to move forward, she was supportive of all of the new construction communities that I wanted to see. Interest rates were starting to rise, but Katrina assured me that there was a home for me. She was determined for me to have a house that made the most sense for me in regards to commuting, financial goals, and my desire to be closer to my family. This was my second experience looking for a home with my husband and I’m happy to say that Katrina was such a joy to work with. Our first realtor set so many stipulations and didn’t want to work with us and our busy schedules but Katrina was the exact opposite. She made herself available to help us on as many home tours as she could and when she wasn’t available she always found a way to have a colleague of hers assist us. ☺️ After many months of looking we finally found a home that fit both our preferences and Katrina was a great guide though the entire process. As first time home buyers we weren’t sure of a lot of things but Katrina was always there to help. In the end, me and my husband found a very nice home with a modern farmhouse feel and great amount of acreage and we have Katrina to thank. Buying a home for the 1st time can be a stressful situation. Especially when buying in 2022. I can't express enough how much of a sage Katrina has been for me throughout this process. At every turn, she provided the clarity and information I needed to make the right decisions. Her knowledge of the home buying process and market always placed me in a position to feel confident while on this journey. For me, I wanted to be aggressive. Tour as many locations as possible to get a good sense of what I wanted vs. what would work. Through her efforts, I was able to buy a home that provided both! Katrina helped set up a great communication pattern after she gave me a world-class introduction to the home buying process. From there, she worked with me almost daily to find houses that fit my needs, set up tours, evaluate the asset, determine the pros and cons, and submit the appropriate bid when it was worth it. She set the perfect expectations at every iteration. I knew what I was getting into, how it could go, and how we would respond.
When so much uncertainty was baked into the process, I couldn't have been more certain I was doing the right thing, at the right time, the right way. I owe that to Katrina. I vehemently recommend working with Katrina for all your home-buying/selling needs. It's one thing to get an agent. It's an entirely different thing to have a real estate SAGE! Katrina is amazing!! I first met Katrina in 2019 when I was looking to relocate to the D.C area for a new job. I had such a great experience with her the first time that when my husband and I decided that it was time to move, I knew that we had to use Katrina. Katrina is professional and courteous. She moves through the homebuying process as if she were buying a house herself. She is willing to be honest with you and was very encouraging to us throughout the entire process. When it came to selling my condo she communicated with us every step of the way. When the first offer fell through, she was quick to get the condo back on the market and she made sure that the offers that were given were the client's best possible offers so that we could take the offer that would be best for us. I would recommend her as a real estate agent to my family, friends, and anyone looking to buy a house. Katrina hasn't just been my real estate agent she has become someone I would consider a friend.

Katrina Benjamin did all the footwork for me plus more when purchasing my first home. I was diagnosed with a high risk pregnancy and could barely move. Not to mention it was during the peak of winter during the beginning of the pandemic. She saw all of the desired homes that I wanted and connected me virtual showing so I could still take part in the process. Even with decided to relocate almost 1 hr and a half away she still saw the process through and got me to closing with little to no money down.

Katrina is super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. As first-time buyers, we felt lost in the details of buying a home. Katrina patiently walked us through everything we needed to know, as well as things to look out for that we never would have considered.

Even though the process of touring, placing offers, and getting outbid could be tiring sometimes, she always made time for us and kept a positive outlook. Then, when unexpected costs came up during our home inspection, Katrina worked hard negotiating with the seller on our behalf.

It’s incredibly reassuring having a good professional on your side. Without her, we would’ve been way more stressed out, and we wouldn’t have gotten nearly as good of a deal. I’d recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home!

Working with Katrina was amazing from the start! As soon as I put my information to be contacted by her through Redfin, she called to introduce herself and identify my needs within the hour. She is always preemptive with information and prompt with answers and responses. A first time homebuyer's dream! She is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate process and very informative from the start! Katrina was so pleasant and easy to work with throughout the process, and was always able to accommodate my unusual schedule to get me what I needed. Any time I was worried or unsure she would reassure me and go back over things to make sure I understood everything that was going on. She was ready with plenty of recommendations when the time came for title companies and inspections. Tirelessly, she took me to as many properties as I needed to see. I knew what I liked when I saw it and Katrina was able to tease out the specifics and together we found a place that I absolutely love! We first met Katrina in March 2021 when she put our home on the market. Feels like we’ve known her forever and three months later we settled on our new home. There aren’t enough words to describe our amazing eventful experience with Katrina! Her energy and passion for her clients is unmatched! Katrina was by far the best realtor that I’ve used for the sale of a property in a long time. I’ve been involved in many real estate transactions and this one was out of state and a distressed property. Katrina was extremely proficient in her communication and actions in assisting me in the listing and negotiation of the sale. A few years ago, I met Katrina while I was attending a homebuyers course. I told her to give me about 1 to 2 years and I'll be ready to purchase. January 2019 marked the halfway point of my request and my phone call from Katrina was right on time. She spent the rest of the time answering all of my questions, teaching me about things I didn't know, and being such an amazing support system throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend Katrina due to her extensive knowledge in real estate, her connections, her drive, her persistence, and how she just understands everything that somehow I can't seem to appropriately articulate. As a first time homebuyer, I honestly entered into the home buying process confused and honestly petrified. I had been following Katrina on Instagram for awhile, and when I began going through the process for pre approval, I reached out to her and asked for her assistance. She immediately contacted me, agreed to represent me, and began to help me walk through the process, even through my tears and apprehension. When I received my pre approval, I called her in tears because I was in shock at how quickly I received one, and as I would come to find out, she was just as excited and ready to begin this journey as I was. Once we began searching, I was so nervous, I began sending her listings before she could even set my account up; yet, she never once became upset or annoyed by my antics. She lined up several of the listings, and even contacted my lender to get the best fit number for me to stay in to stay around the payment amount I was looking to pay monthly. Katrina was not only supportive during this entire process, but provided the most encouragement possible and even talked me off the ledge several times when I wanted to quit the entire process. Katrina, thank you sooooooo much for walking me through and literally holding my hand through the entire process of purchasing my home for myself and my daughter.
