I am a lifelong learner who returned to academia during the pandemic to complete an undergraduate degree at NC State University begun more than thirty years ago. In 2022, I earned my B.A. in English, summa cum laude, and completed the requirements for an M.A. in English with a concentration in Literature in 2024. Go Pack!

A passionate animal lover and rescue partner, I have been a volunteer certified therapy dog handler alongside Daisy, our amazing 14-year-old golden retriever, sharing comfort, easing stress, and bringing joy as only a therapy dog can do!
