Born and raised in Midland, Texas, Khani was always a natural-born leader and creative soul. She earned a bachelor’s in fine arts from the University of Texas at Austin and proceeded to teach dance and choreography for 20 years while also launching a clothing brand, producing several variety shows, teaching yoga, and even operating a globally recognized, star-studded tattoo shop in Los Angeles for 16 years.

Though she was always drawn to real estate, Khani didn’t officially become a consultant until 2016, after an eye-opening conversation with a friend who helped her realize she could convert her interest into a full-blown career. From there, she leveraged the production, business, and customer service skills developed in her previous jobs to craft a customized and elevated experience as an agent. Today, Khani flawlessly executes home acquisitions, sales, and development and renovation projects that lead to profitable results.

Highly communicative and people-oriented, Khani features a nationwide network of professionals to refer to her clients while patiently educating and guiding them through the challenging process. Prior to real estate, Khani and her husband, Roni Zulu, lived in Los Angeles for more than 15 years. Together, they owned and operated Zulu Tattoo, an incredibly successful, world-renowned, luxury tattoo studio known for providing elevated customer experiences and the highest quality artwork. Their clientele included entertainment industry executives, professionals, and a long list of A-list celebrities. Giving was always a big part of their business model, receiving recognition from the City of Los Angeles for their generosity and efforts.

Khani grew up in Midland, Tx, and later attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She worked with Urban Outfitters from 1995 to 2000 as a District Visual Merchandise Manager and was on the store opening team. Her experience with production and design has proven helpful in managing home renovation projects, designing for her clients in the make-ready process of selling their homes, and with developers launching new projects.

Khani has always looked to elevate the standard for real estate professionals by acting as a professional business consultant. She continues to be recognized for her negotiating, marketing, and sales abilities.

Giving back to the community in numerous avenues, Khani serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Andrea Ariel Dance Theater and donates time and resources to causes including: SAFE Alliance, Austin Pets Alive, and Foundation Communities. Khani currently lives in South Austin with her husband of 21 years, Roni Zulu. She is a mother to Sheba & Freya, two tiny chihuahuas with big personalities. When she’s not working, she enjoys yoga, working out, fashion, and craft cocktails.
