With over 25 years of diverse real estate experience, Kris Laine brings passion, drive and determination to the Northern Colorado real estate market. In 1988, Kris began her career in Commercial Real Estate in Los Angeles, California. Quickly discovering her passion for the business, she expanded her knowledge and expertise to include Leasing, Sales, Management and Investment, achieving many Local, National and International awards throughout her career in Los Angeles.

In 2006, Kris and her family relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado, where she focused her energy on family and juggling her 3 very busy children. In 2014, after thoroughly exploring all her options, she made the decision to re-enter the real estate profession. Since coming back, Kris has embraced helping Buyers and Sellers in all aspects of Real Estate. Her extensive and broad knowledge base, along with her passion, drive and determination has brought much success achieving Top National sales rankings for 3 consecutive years.

Kris has been married for 32 years to her husband Steve. Her children Matthew, Katherine and Olivia have acclimated well to Northern Colorado. Kris is an avid cyclist and fitness enthusiast. Her commitment stretches throughout the Fort Collins community. She and her husband actively support several organizations including: Junior Achievement, CMEC (Colorado Moves to End Cancer), Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County, Rotary Club of Fort Collins and The Better Business Bureau.

We were looking to move from Phoenix, AZ to the Ft Collins, CO area. We connected with Kris to help us with the process as we were in another state and not very familiar with northern Colorado. Our first trip up, we were expecting a get acquainted meeting. Instead, Kris took a half day and gave us a tour of broader area. A few days later she lined up several houses for us to tour and spent another morning with us. This gave us a very good feel for the different neighborhoods in Northern Colorado, enabling us to get a feel for each and helped us quickly determine which specific area was a good fit for us.

We determined we wanted to move forward with a new build and put our name on the list for a lot in a neighborhood we liked - the lot we wanted had not yet been released. Once it was, Kris worked closely with us and the builder from initial design (done remotely) through close and getting settled. This included helping us work through a couple of somewhat contentious issues with the builder. She was our eyes, ears and presence onsite. She even handled a couple of walkthroughs for us as we couldn’t travel up for each one, and helped us facilitate a remote close.

She made a challenging process very smooth and much less stressful. We highly recommend Kris.

Kris was wonderful to work with. We appreciated her funny yet no-nonsense approach. She examined every listing as carefully as we did, and we truly felt she put our interests first. She kept a long process realistic yet optimistic. When we encountered challenges or difficult decisions, she was a very helpful thought partner and I was grateful to have her there.
