Kristen first entered the affordable housing arena in 1999, managing an 80-unit Section 42 Tax Credit property for FPI Management in Stockton, CA. After two years troubleshooting challenged tax credit properties across the Central Valley and SF Bay Area, she transitioned into the role of Compliance Specialist with a portfolio of 25 properties that spanned the West Coast. Kristen obtained her Calif. Real Estate license in 2014 and has been delighted to do her part to reverse displacement in San Francisco with IMPACT since 2017. Having oversaw many complicated transactions in that time, Kristen is equipped with the creative thinking needed to overcome obstacles and see uniquely structured deals through to their conclusion.
Working with Impact’s non-profit partners provides a fulfilling opportunity to help San Franciscans stay in their homes, as does shepherding tenants through the process of becoming homeowners. Kristen's deeply held belief that everyone deserves to live in the community of their choosing fuels her ambition to continue to fight to ensure housing stability for all San Franciscans.
