About Laura
For Laura Lulgjuraj, being raised in a family of builders and developers can
mean only one thing: “I grew up in dust!” But, more importantly, it also means
“I was always watching a house go up, and I learned, at a very early age, to love
real estate.” Laura spent a lot of her time watching her family work on different
properties, as she grew up in Michigan, allowing her a bird’s eye view into how
a house becomes a home. “I love showing my clients a home’s true potential and
helping them to envision themselves in the space.” With this kind of background, it’s no surprise that in her early 20s, Laura spent her time designing dream homes for her clients, as well as flipping her own
property, all while, training as an interior designer, working in the financial
industry and getting her Bachelor’s degree in New York. “My parents wanted
me to stay in the corporate world like my grandfather who ran a successful
importing and exporting business, but that just wasn’t enough for me. I needed
a greater challenge.” And, as someone who’s often called a go-getter and a
self-starter, even as a little kid, she just couldn’t sit in an office all day. Her
contagious energy and an insatiable thirst for overcoming the next big hurdle
had something to do with that, too.
Laura found the right fit and the challenging career she was searching for in real estate, a world she’s known since her earliest days. “I love helping people find their dream homes, all while utilizing my skills in design, it makes it that much
more fun!” Transactions with Laura at the helm are smooth and stress-free,
partly because she knows the industry inside and out, and partly because she
knows how her clients feel. “I’ve lived it all. Many times over.” And, that has left
her with limitless patience, and a level of understanding so few possess.
Laura resides in White Plains with her husband and dog in their first home that
was purchased as a fixer upper, one that most buyers overlooked, but that was
begging for her keen eye and creative hand. As for her clients, they call her an
endless source of knowledge, vision, and drive. And, they refuse to partner with
anybody else.
