Leslie Dougherty is the absolute best broker and real estate agent there is! I wasn’t even seriously looking when I bought my first home but she knew what I wanted before I did. The second I walked into the home I said “let’s put in an offer.” This was when cash buyers ruled the market and FHA first time home buyers were being priced out. She coached me and helped me write a personal letter to the seller. Less than 24 hrs later I was in escrow! When certain FHA requirements needed to be met such as peeling paint on the fence, Leslie and her husband painted the fence! A few years later when I was moving across the country she helped me find the right buyer. Again, when last minute things happened and needed to be fixed, Leslie stepped up and did it! She operates as more than your agent, she truly cares about every single client as if they are family. Her calm demeanor can make what could be a stressful situation easy and helps her clients become knowledgeable about the process. I don’t know of any other real estate professional who would drive 12+ hours in one day just to make a client happy or do a small errand in order to complete a transaction. The only reason I did not have her as my agent in my current home is because I bought in Colorado. However, she did refer me to another agent and I had another serendipitous 24 hr offer acceptance. When I had questions, she was there to help me. She was the best advocate for me even when she wasn’t getting paid. She is simply the best. The Fairy Godmother of real estate!

Leslie signed on with me 10 years ago to purchase my first home when frankly, no one else would bother with me because I didn't have a big budget. She walked me through each step, making it simple for me. She took the time to answer every question, every time. When a few years later I moved for a job, she helped me look at the market and choose to rent out the house rather than sell. She even helped me find a property management company.

When I decided to sell the house and move across the country there wasn't a moment of hesitation. I knew who to call. Leslie made the process of selling incredibly easy. The house sold in less than 24 hours and again, with me driving across the country, she was there, answering every question, every time. She even handled a few crazy things that came up along the way like a neighbors bee hive that decided to hang out in the tree out front of my property and a deceased animal that ended up on the property.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Leslie, in fact, I hand her card to everyone I know in the Sacramento area who's looking to buy or sell, because I know how much care she puts into her work. I feel like she wasn't just my real estate agent, she was part of my life, a really important part. I can't thank her enough! I'd give her 10 stars but the system will only let me give her 5! #10starsforLeslie

Leslie was an EXCELLENT & pleasant realtor to work with :) she brought her expertise to our listing and she truly wanted to get our home sold fast and did everything in her power to do that. She was thoughtful and friendly every step of the way! If we were staying in the area we would have used her to find our next home!
