About Lisa
When a client came to her for help, she sprang to life. She immediately met with her to help her decide the best course of action. She went on to do everything in her power to ensure every step went smoothly, and what felt like a drawback would still lead to a positive outcome.
A former client of hers from the nail salon called her in tears. No matter who reaches out or what their situation is, she always has an ache to help. But she had the feeling this was going to be different. She adored this client. She had stopped getting her nails done because she couldn’t remember she made the appointment, and it had been a while since she’d seen her or been to her house. When she called, she knew something serious must have happened, and as she suspected, her emergency wasn’t cosmetic.
After being let go from her job working for the county, she was already playing worst-case scenarios in her head. She told her to hang in there; she was on her way.
When she reached the house and was let inside, her stomach sank. An accumulation of everything from over the years; her house was stacked with piles of stuff from floor to ceiling. Turning her attention away from her home, her first order of business was to be there for her friend.
The best advice she can give anyone who’s about to move is to not be hasty. She always does her best to sit down with her clients to discuss their options, and this was no different.
She decided she did want to sell if she could help her find her new home. She promised to be with her every step of the way, and she was. It meant going through each pile in her house, sorting everything, finding and putting aside what was important, setting up a garage sale, and hauling everything else away.
By the time they were finished, all her belongings fit in a single POD and were transported to her new house. It felt incredible knowing she had been well taken care of and was all set for the next chapter in her life.
She never would have found a real estate on her own. For years, her family, friends, and clients at the Salon would tell her when they were looking to buy or sell their homes, and she’d pass their information along to a friend of hers. One day, her friend said, “You have to stop passing all this business on to me. You should do it yourself!” At the time, she was painting nails, raising her kids, and in the middle of her first semester back at ASU working toward her CPA. But she was intrigued. Looking back, she wanted to be a CPA because it was a great career opportunity. Instead, her friend’s single suggestion connected her passion for helping others with a career she loves.
The opportunity to help others at such a significant time in their lives, and to see the joy it brings is continuously fulfilling and rewarding. Her clients are like her family. She looks forward to adding new members to her family.
This is an exciting time for her clients, and she wants them to have the best experience possible. Patience is key. Deciding to move and finding the right home requires time and consideration. She’s there for her clients to lean on throughout the entire process. It is an amazing feeling for her clients to walk into a home and instantly see themselves making it their own!
Making close connections with clients is the most rewarding part of her job. Knowing her clients trust her with this responsibility is a huge honor. She loves bringing people home. She looks forward to doing that for you!
