I began working with Kimberly in 2013 to sell a condominium I owned in Valley Ranch. Kimberly did an excellent job at recommending repairs and providing reliable contacts to make them. We ended up getting a good offer and sold the property at the price that I wanted.My most recent experience was with buying a home... My wife and I started our search in January 2016 and had to look at about 10 properties before we found one. The market was very competitive but thanks to divine intervention and great negotiation skills Kimberly was able to make an extraordinary deal for us. I truly believe this was the best deal we could have gotten and especially in a competitive market. Needless to say my wife and I are very pleased with the outcome. We eventually met the entire team and they were all also amazing people to work with and very experienced in the real estate market. My husband and I are professionals and are very experienced in the workplace; however we were novices when it came to buying and selling a house. We built our first house and had lived there for almost 20 years. So when we decided we wanted to move into Coppell, TX, we spoke with trusted friends and family and were guided to the Barton-Bauer Group. I have often heard that selling a house (and buying) is a horrible experience. However, the Barton-Bauer Group and specifically Marci Barton were just what we needed to make the process as easy as possible. Even when unexpected roadblocks occurred, Marci kept us focused on our end goal and moving forward. Both Marci and her staff were quick to respond to our texts, emails or calls and we felt like we were their only client (although that was far from true). Her experience and ability to negotiate contracts was very beneficial. They also handled the entire process: from staging our home to the photo shoot to recommendations on home/pool inspector, home repair companies and even a recommendation for someone to change our locks on the new house. My husband and I used Kimberly Barton Conte with the group and had an overall excellent experience. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire experience. With this being our first experience at buying we were not exactly sure what to expect throughout the entire process, but she kept us thoroughly informed and made us a part of every step in the process. We started out shopping to buy an already existing home and ended up building from the ground up and I could not have imagined using any better of a realtor. She was there with us EVERY step of the way giving us her honest opinions, but never once trying to influence our decisions one way or the other. She truly does her homework when it comes to the neighborhood and surrounding areas and houses. She was willing to or actually did negotiate on every offer we wanted to make or actually made and was successful every time. The most successful negotiating was when we actually made our final decision to build, Kimberly ended up getting us almost $20,000 in upgrades on our build added for free. When it finally came time to start the build, she attended every builders meeting with us and was exceptionally helpful when picking out colors/carpet/tile/etc and the other details of the inside/outside of our new home. I truly don’t know that the process would have gone as smoothly or as stress free as it did had she not been a part of it. I know she had MULTIPLE clients she was working with at the same time as we were shopping, but it never felt like she was too busy to meet with us or give us her time, no matter how big or small the task was. I never felt like she was frustrated by any of our demands or requests and never felt like anything we asked or wanted was regarded as unimportant by her. Although we do plan on being in our current home for quite some time, I can honestly say Kim has made customers for life and until the next time we will need her, we will continue to recommend her to anyone we know buying or selling a property. user7151679
