I went with Mark Deering's team after having knowledge of his vast expereince in west Michigan (and frankly along with all of the mountain bike activities he facilitates for the GR area). Mike Bursley was my actual agent and he has been absolutely great ! free flowing communication between Mike and I and he never seemed bothered even when we shifted 40 miles between the towns we wanted to find our next home in. The offer process was seamless, and a very pleasant surprise for me was having my agent present to represent my interests during the inspection. Mike was able to ask the inspector to pay special attention to items I was concerned about (I wasnt able to attend due to work conflicts). Mike quickly communicated the findings and we were able to get my questions anwered and the offer was accepted !
Jessica Kirkwood from the team then began to give relevent updates so we knew what all the next steps were. We will be closing on a house that was an exact match for our needs and I cant recommend Mike Bursley and the Mark Deering team strong enough. Thanks guys !

Being that we were out of state everything related to the sale like cleaning, showings closing etc was taken care off without having to return to Michigan. Recently closed on a home with the help of Mike Bursley as buyer’s agent and Jessica Kirkwood as admin manager. The process was very smooth from start to finish. When we found a home I liked, Mike was on the phone with me until late that night to get an offer in under the wire. He was even able, despite the current competitive market, to negotiate sellers’ concessions to help with expected repairs on the home. When we had a roadblock with the appraisal (due to missing safety railings), he worked with the seller’s agent to get the railings installed as quickly as possible and the appraisal cleared. Throughout the whole process, Jessica was ready with helpful answers to my questions, and championed the mountain of paperwork involved in getting through all stages of the purchase contract. Thank you to the whole team for getting me into my new place!

Casey was our agent who worked with us as we were relocating from the Chicagoland area. Casey was willing to spend long Saturdays with us exploring a wide variety of areas within an hour radius of Grand Rapids. Ultimately we wound up in Rockford, and couldn't be happier. I think it was about a year ago that I started the process of working with Justin Glover and the Marking Deering team of ReMax Grand Rapids. Justin is very knowledgeable about the market and willing to go out of his way to meet a customers needs. I would search for properties I was interested in and Justin would make suggestions, after about 2 months and with my work travel I let Justin know I was postponing my search for a new home and the sale of my home....but, I would continue to look and let him know if something caught my eye. I can say without a doubt I would contact Justin and the Mark Deering team with all my real estate needs, at no point were they pushy and were very supportive in letting me search at my own pace. I finally found something I wanted to take a look at, Justin setup the viewing for a Saturday afternoon and we had an excepted offer from the seller Sunday afternoon....little stressful in the fact that I still had a house to sell. Justin and thé Mark Deering team got right to work that same Sunday setting up things for me to get accomplished, pics were taken on Wednesday and the house was listed Thursday afternoon....and, my house was sold in 3 days. Justin and thé Mark Deering team went above and beyond keeping me informed, Jessica was on top of tasks and making sure i was i formed with great detail throughout the whole process....made me feel like I was their only client. Mark Deering and his team worked rigorously to help me find my first home. In this market you have to move quickly, and Mark did just that. The home I bought was only in the market for one day when I put an offer. Due to his negotiating skills, I won the bid when someone else put in a higher offer. He set up a Facebook page as a platform for me to communicate with him and his team, and there he posted relevant and informative YouTube videos from his channel as I was about to enter each new stage of the home buying process. Not only did Mark get top dollar for my home he gave great advise when negotiating the purchase of my new home. In a competitive market it is so important to go in with a strong offer.
