Martin Schwartz

Before moving north I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree after attending California State University, Northridge and the University of Southern California. I served in the United States Army working in the Special Processing Detachment of a Military Police company at Fort Ord, California. I hold a California Standard Elementary Teaching Credential and an Early Childhood Specialist Credential and taught elementary school for 30 years, first in the Los Angeles City School District and ultimately in the Bennett Valley Union School District in Santa Rosa.

I am also a licensed California real estate broker. My real estate career began over 20 years ago during the summers while school was not in session. Since retiring from the classroom in 2004 I have worked full time as a broker associate with Artisan Sotheby's International Realty. While at Artisan Sotheby's I have been involved with bare land sales, new home subdivisions, individual builder representation, the high end market in the Fountaingrove area as well as standard sales, short sales, and the marketing of bank owned properties in Santa Rosa proper and the communities contiguous with the city limits of Santa Rosa. I especially enjoy helping teachers, and now even occasionally former students, as well as the general public, achieve their real estate goals.
