I loved working with Mary, she is personable, down to earth, and extremely knowledgeable. She literally has a street by street understanding of Roslindale and West Roxbury - to the point where she knows what streets tend to have better resale for condos vs others or knows which streets are used as crossover streets and end up being louder than they seem from looking at google maps. She has an excellent understanding of the suburbs around Boston and spends her time exploring different places and going to open houses to ensure she has good info on the entire Boston area. This was extremely useful for me since we had a very wide net cast in terms of location. She also isn't pushy or stereotypical salesperson vibes - she tells you what she thinks about a place good or bad - it's always authentic. She also will investigate intensely looking for issues/red flags during showings. I truly believed she listened and guided me to the best possible house for my current situation.

We pressed the easy button!
My wife and I did not expect such exceptional service. We were in desperate need of a place in Boston for our son who is attending Graduate school here. We had 3 days in which to accomplish this, and since we don’t live in Boston, we didn’t know who to reach out to. So we searched online and found an apartment that we were interested in then reached out to the listing agent. Kris called immediately, familiarised himself with what we were looking for, then referred us to Mary Forde. We did not expect such a warm, kind, hard-working professional like Mary. From our first interaction on the phone to closing, she was absolutely incredible.
Mary didn’t know this at the time but we were going through some of the hardest times of our lives, dealing with a lot of emotional and personal family stresses and she made this process easy for us.
Mary listened and retained the abundance of preferences we gave her. She always texted, called and answered every single questions in a timely manner. Mary was informative, always gave us accurate information and looked up anything she wasn’t 100% sure about. She always went above and beyond to help us with absolutely no attitude.
She is very experienced and puts us, the client, first. We were very grateful for the time and dedication she showed us.
We do not write reviews often as we are very picky, but there’s no doubt that Mary Forde is the real deal and we were very lucky to find her.
