Pleasant View Realty was founded in 2002 by owners, Gail and Jim Kapellen. Gail has made real estate her life’s work since 1979, and Jim joined the business in 1997. The couple’s dream was to bring a personal, professional approach to real estate in their hometown of Plymouth, Wisconsin. They began with the simple motto, “Building Relationships on Trust … Is Our Way of Doing Business.”

Over the past 15 years, Pleasant View Realty has built a reputation as one of the most trusted real estate companies in Eastern Wisconsin. The Kapellens now lead an entire team of real estate professionals, including their own children, Kari and Matt. A team approach is evident in everything they do. The entire company comes together to share updates and ideas, always working together to provide the best for their clients.
Growing… But Staying Personal
In 2013, Gail and Jim had the opportunity to expand Pleasant View Realty through the purchase of At Home Realty in Kiel, Wisconsin. The addition of the Kiel location and the four seasoned real estate agents was a great opportunity to strengthen relationships in the Manitowoc, Calumet, and Fond du Lac County areas. Though they have grown, they have worked hard to maintain a personal approach to real estate. They want their clients to feel like they are part of the Pleasant View family.
Continuing the Legacy
Today, Pleasant View Realty continues to be a locally-owned, family real estate company.
