Melissa is a great person to work with. I was previously apart of a networking group with her. Loved how she presented herself and going above and beyond her call of duty as a realtor. When I was ready to sell my home, i knew without a doubt I would hire her to do so. She is very diligent in her efforts in making certain that you understand your rights as a seller and the expectations of things that goes along with selling a home.

We used Melissa as our Realtor in 2016. She was patient with our hectic timeline for selling our home & patient again when it came to finding our new home. She fought for us when it was necessary and talked me off the ledge several times when our closing was pushed back. In fact I fully believe if it wasn't for Melissa it would have taken a lot longer to close on our home. She was amazing! I know several realtors and Melissa is my first referral to anyone who is in need of a realtor.

Melissa is the most heartfelt and intelligent realtor around; from being willing to meet with me and my fiancé from day one of us having no idea we even wanted to buy a house or knowing anything about owning a house, to even now still checking in with us after closing to make sure everything was just as we had hoped, Melissa does it all! She was able to help us narrow down what was most important to us and help us find that within our budget. She was also willing to answer any and all questions, big and small, we had about the process along the way. And lastly, she is just a genuine human being—kind, patient, and understanding. She will be our go-to person in future house buying or selling and our referral to anyone thinking about buying a home in the area!

We hired Melissa in late 2017 and were moving from California to Raleigh. Our experience was unique In that we bought our house sight unseen. This was not be design. We toured 10-15 houses with Melissa in person so she knew what we were looking for. When another house fell through (due to a seller that was the absolute worst), we asked Melissa to tour our current house. We have to hand it to her for trying her best to work with such an unreasonable person on that that initial transaction but we are glad that transaction fell through. For the new house, she did a facetime tour and took additional photos and we decided that this house was the one. She pointed out all of the intangibles about the location, schools, etc. that really made a huge impact on our decision. This transaction went extremely smoothly and we bought an amazing house in an amazing neighborhood. Now that we are in a pandemic and many people are buying sight unseen, our experience becomes extremely relevant. We highly recommend Melissa!

Melissa was so pro-active when we were selling our house. She explained everything clearly and left no doubt about any details. The staging process was awesome, as were the pictures. We had our open house on a Saturday and the first offer came in on Monday. She made this process so smooth and effortless. Also, she went to bat for us when the buyer's agent was dragging his feet. She then turned us on to the Flowers Plantation area when we were house hunting and we now reside there very happily. Not only is Melissa a good agent, but a kind and wonderful person! Highly recommend working with her!

When I first contacted Melissa, I didn't know the first thing about buying a home. But she did a good job walking me through the process and coordinating with the seller, the inspections, and the other companies that were involved. Especially with such a small window of time; I think the entire process took only about 45 days in my case. Melissa went so far as to work around my schedule, and even after the deal had closed, she continued to answer my questions relating to home ownership.

We are a senior couple in our 70's;
Married for 50 years;

We lived in a two- story house;
To utilize the second floor;
We had to climb and up and down the stairs.

Age and a health condition stole my agility;
Which increased the probability;

We as a family used Elliott Realty for a Easter break vacation it was so worth it. The pictures of the Nitty South where we stayed were true to what we found. Upon arrival we were greeted with kind smiles. Even though there appear to be some confusion with other guests the staff appeared to handle the situation in a kind and respectful manner. When staying prepping meals would be awesome for huge families. There are plenty of supermarkets near by such as Aldi and Walmart close by to purchase food.
