Born and raised in Eagle Rock, CA, Melvin Tam was privileged to grow up in this little pocket of Los Angeles, conveniently surrounded by tons of history yet quietly tucked away between Pasadena and Glendale. After graduating from UC Irvine, Melvin moved back to Los Angeles to help his family manage their rental portfolio. After a brief stint in entertainment production and many years as a marketing manager for an apparel retailer and e-commerce sales expert, the entrepreneur in me pushed me to look for more. Already backed by a decade of property management, he combined his experience in real estate, marketing, sales, and customer service with the top rated training from Keller Williams to become a strong asset for his office and voted Rookie of the Year 2017.
As an LA native, Melvin offers a unique insight to the growth and evolution of the city. He specializes in Northeast LA, with a special interest in Mid Century Modern architecture, Spanish Revival architecture, and loft style living.
He grew up with childhood memories of helping his father manage his properties, and through his experiences honed his skills to understand how to address issues and see windows of opportunity for growth in his roles as agent, property manager, and landlord.
Experienced in working with first time home buyers, sellers, and investors, Melvin offers a full range of services through his network of partners to meet all his client's real estate needs.
