Michelle and her husband were awesome! I had seconds thoughts about going through with the shortsell procedure. When i sat down and talked with Michelle, she left my home with me feeling confindent in that i was making the right decision. Once the process began it was pretty painless. With in a day of my home going on the market Michelle had a buyer. Unfortunately this deal fell through. With in hours of my home going back on the market, another offer was made and within 2 months my home was sold. If you think that looking and trying to buy a home in AZ when you're living in CT is a day at the beach, then think again! It is tremendously stressful! Thankfully one day a good friend of mine recommended Michelle and let's just say from there on it was like a day at the beach! Michelle made the entire process stress free. We immediately reached out to her via social media, then we started informally communicating, then we did a formal chat via Skype or FaceTime, told her what we were looking for and then began our journey. After that first face to face encounter with her, we immediately felt that we could trust her and there wasn’t any misgivings. We immediately started getting prospective houses sent to us to view and narrow our search while at the same time we focused on selling our home in CT. During this process of sending us homes to look at, Michelle was always in contact with us, not just to find out if we're liking the choices she's sending but just to touch base to see how we were going. There were times that I called or texted Michelle at all different hours throughout the day, on any given day, and she immediately answered and remember there's a three hour difference between CT and AZ. Never once did she leave me hanging! I even called her to ask about aspects of selling our home in CT even though we had a different agent for that and she didn't once say, Well, I can't given you advice about that because it's a conflict of interest! No! She gave me the advice anyway without any reluctance to do so. When it came time for us to travel to AZ to finally look at the properties that we narrowed, Michelle was always there with us. One thing about her is that she isn't pushy so we still had our space while we were visiting in AZ. During that week while we were there, she was patient, she welcomed us into her home, showed us the area the houses, and introduced us to her wonderful family! She made us feel like we were a part of her family and even after the purchase of our home, she continues to do that. She doesn't drop you after you've moved in...no...it's like you've made a friend for life. During the home buying process in AZ, despite some up's and down's or misgivings that one of us went through, Michelle did her very best to be attentive and caring, trying to carefully examine why we were feeling that way, and counseled us in such a way that everyone felt cool, calm, and collected after. She's like that, analytical and driven and her passion for this career in real estate is so evident and so strong, you'd think that this was what she was born to do! You cannot go wrong from choosing Michelle. She will take care of you and put your needs first and foremost above all. There’s not enough adjectives to describe Michelle but in our book, she is truly a wonderful and special human being. I had the pleasure of having Michelle sell my Aunt’s house in Peoria. I was selling the house for my Aunt as her power of attorney. Since I live in New York and was selling a house in Arizona I expected that timely communication might be difficult. We are from the Chicago IL vicinity and we were both working at the time but nearing retirement and had to do most of this via phone conversations,emails and pictures off the internet or pictures that Michelle would personally take and email us.A little scary for a consevative couple like us. I live out-of-state and wanted to purchase a home for my Mom in the Goodyear area. Unfortunately, we started our search as the market began to pick up. We spoke with 2 different realtors that told us it was next to impossible to find something in our price range. Investors were snapping up the properties sight unseen with cash offers. The realtors were unwilling to work with us because they said it would take about 20 offers to be successful and they weren't interested in taking that on. Then we had the good fortune to meet Michelle. She confirmed the market conditions, but has a can-do attitude and was up for the challenge. Within a week, we found something we liked and made a successful offer. The offer was competitive so as to beat out a cash offer, yet it held up on appraisal value. Michelle and Joel kept me and my Mom in the loop through the entire process. Everything happened on time and our questions were addressed promptly. Michelle and her team are AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I was working with a different realtor and company for months and was getting nowhere. Put in several offers and never once did our bid get considered. The realtor I was using at the time had no knowledge of the west valley and was like pulling teeth trying to get her to meet with us to view homes. To say Michelle and Joel are great would be an understatement! Michelle and Joel were our sixth realtors in 4 months. We were outbid on 2 previous homes and when the Avondale home came up for sale I immediately contacted my previous realtors. I wanted them to go check it out since we live in SD and could not be there. But after 2 nonchalant emails and no return call I decided to call the agent that my sister had given me the number too and that was Michelle! I called at 11:30 - she answered - hallelujah! By 3 pm she was in the house taking pictures (99 of them to be exact!) and by 4:30 we put in a bid and our offer was accepted by 9 am the next morning! It was a short sale and I did as much research as I could on these types of transactions. The process was long over 5 months, but the Minik Team kept us informed with weekly email updates and phone calls. I have to say I am a type 'A' person that leaves no stone unturned and asks loads of questions. There was never a time that Joel or Michelle did not have time for my husband or me and was always able to answer our questions and calm us down well ok mostly me:) And most importantly they were always professional and provided us with true customer service.
