About Mike

Mike is a Clay County native, born and raised in the local area. His current hobbies include spending time with his children and running them from one activity to another, traveling, camping, fishing and just spending time outside as often as he can.

Mike got his real estate license in 2004 and has been in the top 10% of Realtors in this area ever since. In 2009 he got his broker's license. He specializes in residential real estate and in his career has focused on resale homes, short sales, new construction, and helping buyers find their dream homes.

He started in the business by marketing to Expired listings, these are homes that other agents have listed and couldn't sell. Through that process Mike learned how to effectively market homes and as a result his marketing plan is second to none! One of the most important aspects when selling a house is the quality of photos, he has a DSLR camera with a super wide 10MM lens and has taken photography classes to learn how to use it effectively. Mike knows what it takes to get homes sold in the shortest amount of time for the highest sales price.

Many homeowners have experienced hardships and due to a loss of income are about to lose their homes. He has successfully negotiated over 60 short sales; his experience can help you avoid foreclosure.

Mike has marketed new homes for multiple builders. For a little over a year, he helped one of the largest builders in the northland by meeting with their buyers and subcontractors working for the builder to make sure the home was built to the custom specifications the buyers wanted. Through this experience he learned the construction process from choosing the best lot through the final clean done just before new homeowners take possession. Mike's experience will help you with making choices for your new home and making sure you don't overpay for those features.

His knowledge of different loan programs and relationships he has with various lenders will allow him to help you choose the best loan for your situation.
