I had the pleasure of working with Mike and Chris with the sale of my home and purchase of a new one. Every step of the way, they were there for me and gave me sound information for both transactions. I honestly never knew if you had the right realtors, it could be this easy. They answered all my questions (I had many), Chris gave me comps that were relative to my home (incidentally - after closing, we set a high mark for a townhome in my neighborhood). I did not expect to get that much for my home, but Chris had a gut feeling! Mike spent countless hours with me at different new construction neighborhoods and let me know all about them. When it comes time to sell and buy again, I will definitely use Mike and Chris!

Chris and Mike Carlin were way above our expectations! They get the job done! They are very friendly and easy to work with. Chris has a comprehensive marketing plan and brochure/booklet customized for your home. She communicates several times per week. Her suggestions created a successful sale in 4 days with multiple offers. They have necessary service providers lined up on short notice and can head off home problems in the sales process. We have sold 6 houses in Canada before relocating to Lake Norman and even though we had great realtors in the past we have never received the level of support, value and knowledge as we have from Mike and Chris. Somehow, though, that statement doesn't seem to really sum up their service to their customers. They supported each other and us every step of the way during the entire process. Both of them were extremely knowledgeable and always had our best interests at heart. When it came to selling our house, Chris provided us with a tremendous amount of research of the comps in our area, a variety of marketing avenues and advocated on our behalf to get the best price we could for our house. Mike has been such a huge help in representing us in the purchase of our new construction home. He's been with us every step of the way asking questions we wouldn't have known to ask, scheduling inspections and even climbing on top of counters to help us when finding things needing to be repaired prior to closing. He's done a lot of work behind the scenes as well working with the builder to ensure we get what we want and things are done according to schedule. I lived in Colorado at the time. I sent out a search in April 2018 and was contacted by four realtors. I gave them all the same information and set them on the search. What I was doing was interviewing them for my upcoming move to NC. It was very apparent within a week that Mike was our realtor. With that being said, not only did he hear my request for a future home, but he in fact was listening well. I arrived in June and by this time had informed the other three prospective realtors that I had chosen Mike with Allen Tate. So he and I set out for our future dream home. We looked at approximately 30+ homes. Within 10 days we had found it.
Mike is very personalable. He has great knowledge, gives advise and points out things that I would have never thought of. He is patient and has a great sense of humor. Mike is in my opinuon top notch in his field. I highly recommend him. In fact if I could by 100 houses I would choose him each and everytime.

We were looking for places to move to from Jacksonville, FL to Charlotte and had no idea where to begin. We happened upon Mike when we wanted to look at one of his listings. It wasn't for us, but we looked at more places with him and finally decided on building in a newer subdivision. Since we were out of town, he really saved us in keeping checks on the progress, hiring inspectors, you name it, he was there every step of the way. We'd HIGHLY recommend him to anyone as he's extremely knowledgeable and really a hands-on guy to work with.
