About Natalie
Natalie Wilson is a realtor and founder of CentralValleyRancehttes.com. She is a happy wife and mom of three wonderful kiddos - Emily, Sawyer, and Finlee - who inspired her family to want to move from city to country. Her real estate career and passion has grown over the years, and she is excited for the next chapter that is now unfolding.
Natalie’s story starts in 2007 when she graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a Business Marketing degree and got married - all in the same year! After several years in the business world and feeling restless about her career, Natalie embarked on a new endeavor as a Realtor.
Her business slowly took off as Natalie juggled being a fireman’s wife and having three small kids all under the age of four. Natalie and her husband talked a lot about raising their family in the country, but they were certain that it wasn’t possible. In July 2015 they closed escrow on a one-acre ranchette that no one was willing to take a chance on.
They sold their house in town, moved in with her parents, and scraped together all our extra pennies to move from city to country. They built a new, simple farmhouse that fit the needs of their family. After nine long months of renovation, they moved their life to the country and have never looked back.
Meanwhile, real estate was moving along, buyers and sellers were coming and going, and people were asking lots of questions about her move. Natalie started blogging and sharing her story and soon found that her passions for real estate, design, and farm life, were all coming together.
Natalie began to focus on ranchettes and helping families (clients) just like hers see the potential in modest farmhouse fixer-uppers and finding properties that gave them their own piece of land. She began to ponder what would make this huge undertaking of buying and selling country property in CA’s central valley just a little easier and from there the idea of Central Valley Ranchettes was born. Natalie wanted to give everyone access to available ranchettes on the market, a place to explore a curated set of listings, based on their preferences, and organized so they wouldn’t have to labor over search terms.
This is a place to learn from experts and fellow homeowners about what it takes to own agricultural property. And it’s all focused on making your city to county goals a reality.
