Nene Matey-Keke

Nene has more than 16 years of experience in real estate and development, construction, and financial investment. He has held positions as a real estate broker/agent, and project manager for Model Cities CDC (a midsize real estate developer), lead abatement general contractor, as well as a financial planner/stock broker for two of the largest financial institutions in the industry.

In November 2014, Nene was named the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR) 2014 Realtor of the Year, for his dedication to his clients, involvement in local and national associations, and volunteerism throughout the community. He is currently on the Board of Directors for MAAR and the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MNAR). He holds numerous committee memberships at his local and state real estate associations, including past Chair of the Diversity Committee for MNAR. On the national level, he participates on the Research and Housing Opportunities Committees representing the state of Minnesota. In 2013, Nene was appointed by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) to be a Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) and serves as the official representative of the real estate industry to Congressman Ellison of the 5th District of Minnesota. He was also appointed by MNAR to be on the MNAR Realtor Political Action Committee (MN-RPAC) board of trustees.
