Becky Hurwitz's journey to becoming a real estate agent began when she was a child. Growing up in Boston with an architect father, Becky often found herself touring homes, imagining the lives people would live in them. That curiosity about people, and how they live, led Becky to Brown University, where she earned an urban studies degree, with a focus on education. Combining her passion for the urban built environment with her commitment to helping people understand the world and their place in it, Becky spent years working in the education non-profit world. After earning a master's degree from Hunter College, she worked as an elementary school teacher in Brooklyn.
A desire for brighter, more open skies drew Becky to Los Angeles where she translated her impeccable organization and people skills to the world of hospitality, jump starting some of Los Angeles' most exciting small businesses, including Wexler's Deli and and Sons Chocolatiers.
Her years in the classroom and getting small businesses off the ground prepared Becky to be an incredibly sharp real estate agent, with a focus on terrific client service. Becky works closely with her clients to understand their real estate dreams and helps them navigate the enormous Los Angeles landscape to help turn those dreams into reality. Clients appreciate Becky's ability to anticipate issues before they arise, as well as an at-ease professionalism that makes Becky so easy to work with. Becky sweats the details of every transaction and communicates in meaningful and manageable ways to make sure her clients feel comfortable, informed, and engaged throughout the buying and selling process. Her congenial relationships with other agents in Los Angeles ensure that transactions are as smooth as possible.
When not showing homes and meeting clients, Becky can be found at Ocean Park Beach, the Hollywood Farmers’ Market, or biking to various playgrounds with her husband and toddler.
