About Ricardo

Ricardo Salazar is a lifelong resident of Ventura County. He comes from a family of real estate advisors. From mom and dad to uncles, aunts, and cousins. Ricardo has been selling real estate since 2011 when the market was barely recovering from the recession of 2008/09. Ricardo first partnered with his longtime real estate mentors and relatives at Century 21 in Oxnard for three years. An exceptional real estate mogul (Mr. Mark Rafeh with Century 21 in Thousand Oaks, CA) then recruited him to be the lead listing and sales advisor for a top-performing real estate listing team out of East Ventura County (Simi Valley / Thousand Oaks). Ricardo worked out of that office for three years performing at a prominent level, earning many awards, and accomplishing many feats in Ventura County real estate including top listing agent and top selling agent (2015-2017). in Mid 2017 Ricardo then made a solo strategic move to Keller Williams Realty World Class in Thousand Oaks / Westlake Village where he flourished as a solo agent in listing the property for 2.5 years. In 2019 explored his options with Keller Williams West Ventura County to include Camarillo/Oxnard/Ventura/Ojai where he built a powerhouse real estate listing team that services all of Ventura County. Ricard’s leading and mentoring of real estate agents have built him a strong presence in the real estate community. In 2021 Ricardo made his most recent strategic move to eXp Realty, a technology-driven real estate company. The move was made strategically with the intention to offer more to his clients and real estate agents, which in turn allows The Ricardo Salazar Group to offer exceptional real estate services. eXp is at the forefront of technology, not only for the agent but for the consumer and client. Ricardo proudly services Ventura County with the greatest real estate company in the world offering the utmost professional listing and selling services. Ricardo prides himself in being a professional listing agent with concierge-style listing service. Committed to his client's real estate goals are his prerogative and focus. When Ricardo is not selling real estate at the office, he is coaching and mentoring up-and-coming real estate agents, as he feels that he did not learn or make it to where he is today, without mentors and coaches. Ricardo continues to be coached by the most renowned real estate coaching company in the world, The Mike Ferry Organization, for 9+ years. Lastly, when not in the office, Ricardo loves to read, run, play soccer, and spend a fun time creating memories with his son Eden, daughter Bella, baby Ezra and wife Charlene.
