Rory Obletz

With almost a decade in real estate, Rory Obletz ranks as a top agent in the area, year after year. Licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, he’s lived in the area for 20 years and brings a wealth of experience in many different neighborhoods.

Rory began his career in pharmaceutical sales. When he purchased his first home in 2012, he realized that real estate was his calling. After an uncomfortable relationship with a pushy agent, Rory knew he wanted to do things differently. His goal is to be completely transparent and gather the right information to help his clients make the most informed, educated decision. He asks his clients targeted questions, really listens, then comes up with a plan for their success. Rory knows that real estate is a huge investment, and he ensures his clients understand the entire process and encounter no surprises.

Rory grew up on Long Island, studied business and marketing at American University, and spent a semester abroad in Australia. After a canyon swing in New Zealand (which is like bungee jumping), he realized he’d never do that again. Now he lives in Potomac with his two children and his wife, a long-time teacher. In his spare time, he can be found walking the dog, hanging out at the pool with his daughters or visiting his family around the country.
