Established in the wake of World War II by Glenwood Dodgson, our origins began as a personal venture in commercial and investment real estate. From Charlotte to Charlevoix, Glenwood's diverse holdings, including 27 beauty salons across the state, laid the groundwork for a legacy of real estate prowess that spanned generations.

The Dodgson Land Co. Story
In the aftermath of the 2008 market crash, Ryan Dodgson, inspired by his grandfather's legacy, transitioned from a career as a stock broker and financial consultant to invest in the land and redefine his legacy.

Starting with strategic private sales and investment properties, Ryan's expertise quickly expanded, leading to the successful management of numerous properties across West Michigan. His commitment to the old stockbroker adage "buy low, sell high" not only revitalized these investments but set the stage for the establishment of Dodgson Land Co. in 2017.
