The Founder of Francis & Company, Scott Francis, began Investing and Renovating Single family homes in 1989 offering Cash with Quick Closings. Soon afterward, he expanded into Multi-Family Apartments, Industrial Warehousing, Commercial Strip Centers, and Medical properties ultimately founding Francis & Company. Scott has been involved with complex transactions dealing with Foreclosures, Trusts, and Bank Owned Properties such as Performing as well as Non-Performing Notes.
Francis & Company has vast experience in improving the façade of Commercial, Residential, and Multi-Family properties. Scott has the expertise of retrofitting properties from Retail to Flex/Industrial space, going as far as cutting in Drive-In doors and adding Commercial glass to the exterior, in essence changing the use and appearance completely. Many times it is necessary to reconfigure the floor plan slightly or completely, creating a much better flow for its use. The redesign of the landscape is also extremely crucial in attracting and retaining tenants that demand certain amenities and appearance to maintain the integrity of their businesses. Scott’s knowledge, resources, and capital make the large improvements necessary for the property to be appraised it’s highest and best use. Scott has developed as well as redeveloped for local and national chain tenants such as Jimmy John’s, the premium sandwich chain, and Advanced Auto Parts.
Scott received his formal education from MWSU (Missouri Western State University) located in Saint Joseph, Missouri, earning his Business of Science degree in Business Administration (BSBA) in 1988. Prior to graduation, he was hired on by an Animal Health Corporation based in Sweden. With this company, Scott gained 8 years of experience in Biological and Pharmaceutical Product Management and Sales. His clients consisted of Veterinarians, Distributors, and Private Label customers such as Wal-Mart.
