Making his clients’ comfort the centerpiece of his business, Sebastian Spader says the strongest asset one can offer as an agent is the ability to be yourself. Based in the Studio City office, Sebastian represents buyers and sellers across the region, from the Eastside to the Valley, with a focus on Downtown L.A., Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Toluca Lake, Studio City and Sherman Oaks. With a passion for historic architecture, Sebastian has a special affinity for Midcentury, Craftsman, Spanish and Art Deco-inspired homes. Sebastian and colleague Kevin Dees recently sold more residences than anyone else in the historic Eastern Columbia building in Downtown Los Angeles. Raised in the San Fernando Valley and now residing in Beachwood Canyon, Sebastian holds a nuanced understanding of the vast and varied Greater Los Angeles real estate landscape.
After graduating from Harvard Westlake, Sebastian attended New York University before beginning his professional career in the film industry. He worked in the camera and editorial departments, honing his creative eye and eventually becoming a producer. Most notably, he moved to Austin for two years to work at Robert Rodriguez’s Troublemaker Studios. His work as a producer overseeing large projects helped prepare him for his role overseeing the real estate transaction process and seamlessly coordinating the moving parts and various people involved.
After embarking on his first real estate investment project, he segued to the industry full-time, where he enjoys the excitement of exploring new neighborhoods and working with new interesting people every day. When not touring real estate with his clients, many of whom have become lifelong friends, Sebastian enjoys savoring L.A.’s vast culinary scene, discovering new restaurants, photographic scenic locations and traveling.
