Shelby helped me every step of the way. At the first property we toured we both noticed sloping in the flooring. She immediately advised me regarding the importance of hiring an inspector who could evaluate the condition of the foundation. She is excellent at communicating the importance of caution and diligence when buying a home. She has represented me as her client in a very professional and caring manner. Shelby is our realtor. She is honest, ethical, and smart – she took care of us and protected our interest throughout our entire transaction.

… and so our journey began. Shelby took us to see numerous properties .. My husband had an impossible wish list. Even though she found properties that checked every box, he kept saying no. It was very frustrating, but she didn’t give up on us. Finally, we found “the one”.

So, then we had to sell our house. Shelby pulled out all the stops. Made a commercial, had photos and videos done, brought in a designer who staged the house. Every single detail, she was on it.

It went on the market at 8:45 am. Within hours we accepted a full cash offer.

Then the not so fun stuff started. Contracts on both houses, inspectors, paperwork up the you know what, dealing with the seller & buyer's realtors, negotiating things, etc.

Shelby was on top of every detail. She didn’t miss a thing. Cautioning us, guiding us, protecting us from pitfalls, having the foresight and knowledge to keep the process running right.

And now it’s done. We have our dream home.

Selling a house is a business transaction but buying a ‘home’ is 100% emotional. This isn’t our first rodeo, we’ve been burned in the past, so required a lot of hand holding and reassurance. Shelby was patient and understanding the whole time .. even though we were admittingly 'high maintenance'.

Shelby always answers the phone or calls right back. Ask a question, she gets you the answer within minutes. She kept us updated constantly on what was happening and why.

Shelby handled everything perfectly on both properties, made certain everything was done right.

Shelby doesn’t just sell real estate. She really cares and wants every client to be happy and find their dream.

Not sure where to begin with feedback on Shelby Matson. Would calling her an angel that dabbles in real estate be appropriate? Perhaps, a more realistic perspective is she simply is an amazingly competent agent who absolutely understands the business side of her craft but has the bedside manner and personal attention that most agents likely fake...but for her is 150% real and simply comes naturally. Throughout our entire search for our family's next home she was attentive to our needs, listened to us, was border line saint like patient, fun to work with, accommodated all of our requests, worked with one of us being remote and actually not being able to see the house in person and ALWAYS had our back and operated in our best interests. She not only helped guide us in the process of finding and buying our next home but helped us to understand the new area and state we were moving to. Simply put....Shelby helped make what typically is a very stressful, scary, intimidating and daunting experience very manageable, fun and clear. Shelby Matson is a Realtor Extraordinaire! She exceeded my expectations beyond belief. She helped us to not only sell our existing house, but also to find and buy a new home. I first met Shelby when she called me from an online form I filled out on Idaho Life Real Estate. I usually don’t answer those calls, but for some reason I did this time. And, I sure am glad I did!! Shelby proved to be very knowledgeable about the area. Her level of communication is exceptional – she is available to talk or meet on short notice, she follows up regularly and communicates clearly. And she doesn’t give up - when we were struggling to find something in our price range that had all the items we required, she kept looking until she found us the perfect home.
In terms of selling our existing house – She helped us determine what cost-effective items would increase the appeal of the house, inside and outside. She has a keen eye for detail and good decorating sense as well. Going the extra mile, Shelby helped me choose paint, updated lighting and new flooring as well as find a reputable contractor to do the updates. Then, she kept everyone in the process on track through the 3 week freshen-up! Through all our interactions, we never felt pushed into anything as she shared her knowledge and opinions. As a result of all her hard work, we received multiple offers and were in contract 3 days after listing it!
I highly recommend Shelby if you’re looking to sell or buy a house. To say she is one in a million is an understatement!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Shelby Matson. I had clients that were moving from California to Idaho. I was selling their home in California and referred them to Shelby to help find their home in Idaho. She went above and beyond for them!
