Shirley and her Family left their Southern roots in Louisiana and arrived in Fort Collins in 1977. The move proved to be a great decision on the part of the Watson Family. Good schools, a strong sense of community and a

beautiful setting combined to provide one of the highest and most unique qualities of life available anywhere in the world. Although both children are grown, they visit Fort Collins frequently as family remains a priority in the

Watson household. When spare time permits Shirley and her husband Chester enjoy fishing, traveling and just hanging out. When the stress of life reaches a tipping point, you can find Shirley enjoying one of her greatest joys which is creating memories with one of her three amazing granddaughters and her hard-charging grandson. Shirley attributes her work ethic and her business sense to her father. “I started working for his contracting business when I was twelve,” she explains. “He taught me to believe in myself and be confident in everything that I do. The greatest thing he taught me was to always have a positive attitude and to treat others as I would want to be treated in their same situation.” These are the fundamental elements to any successful business and ones

that have sustained her through the years and maintained her through the ups and downs of the market. With 30 plus years of experience in the Northern Colorado real estate market, few can match Shirley’s knowledge

of the area. It is her drive to go that extra mile that keeps her clients coming back.” My goal is not just to find a house for my clients, but to help them discover a new home.”
