Mr. Stephen Arbuckle, a licensed real estate broker by the State of Florida, has been with the firm since 1979, coming from Uniroyal Chemical Corporation in Naugatuck, Connecticut, where he was National Sales Manager. His educational background is a BS Degree from Purdue University in economics and marketing, and a MBA degree from Southern Illinois University. Mr. Arbuckle is a retired Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. He is an approved contractor for the FDIC as well as for the former RTC. He has been both Treasurer and Secretary for the Board of Directors of the Commercial Alliance of the Greater Miami and the Beaches Board of Realtors. Mr. Arbuckle served as the Chairman of the Grievance Committee for the Commercial Alliance for the past four years, and is presently the Chairman of the Profession Standards Committee. Like all of the Maddux and Company Associates, he works strictly on commission, and searches for or markets a maximum of twenty properties at any given time to ensure that each property is properly handled. He was one of the brokers involved in the Falls Shopping Center sale, as well as numerous other properties throughout the state of Florida including; 16 retail acres on Military Trail in Palm Beach County for First Union National Bank, the former Perrine Plaza Shopping Center, 14 acres for $4,800,000.00, 12.4 acres landfill, Biscayne Boulevard for $6,100,000.00, the Sherwood Forrest Apartments in Brandon Florida for $6,900,000.00. Mr. Arbuckle was the real estate broker selected by the City of Miami and the Brickell heirs to exclusively market and sell a downtown city park. He is also the exclusive broker in South Florida for Avanti Properties, the largest land investment company in the United States.
