I am the type of person that normally is motivated to write a review for poor service vs great, but that wouldnt be fair, plus this has been a long relationship through years of communication and joint goals. Ive been using John L. Scott in yelm, for property management for almost 8 years now. I'm active military and PCS'd decided to rent my house. I originally met with Charlene to sign the agreement and start the process, throughout the almost 8 years she remained my solo point of contact throughout. I had a professionally managed rental house while also having a personal small company touch. Over the years I had an average of less than three days non rented between tenants. This was specially important to me as I didn't have the extra funds for covering the homes expenses without renters. Maintenance cost were less than average expected cost, its a blance for not cutting corners and also making quality repairs. Communication was important to me since i was a first time rental owner, Charlene responded via email (my perferes method due to work) within hours each time. I also had her cell phone number for any concerns. I think the less you hear from a management company the better and this was a great overall partnership over the last 8 years. I would continue on with it, but I'm selling the house.

Excellent company. Charlene and Steve are very professional and deliver high class service. They helped us purchase our home and manage our property. With both business ventures they went out of their way to address our needs and exceed our expectations. I highly recommend them for any real estate endeavor.

Mr Steve was very knowledgeable, informative and kind. He was willing and able to show houses within a day of us notifying him. He helped get us in our house despite holiday setbacks, walked us through questions we had and other obstacles we encountered. He put his vast experience to work for us and we are forever grateful.

Well, I work here so of course I think it is great!

As a real estate agent, we work as independent contractors, so the office doesn't pay us. We pay them, so for the most part, we can choose to work out of most any real estate office.

I choose to work out of the Yelm John L. Scott Real Estate office because it is clean, we'll run, professional in appearance and in business ethics.

Yep, I think it is great!

We worked with Charlene Roy from Japan to find the best home for our family. She provided kid glove service and tenaciously advocated for our needs with the sellers agent, our lender and the maintenance contractors who provided requested routine maintenance as part of the contract. Our experience, much like the five years we’ve contracted our rental property management to Charlene, was painless and exceeded our expectations.

To top it all off she sent us a thank you gift. Have no hesitations if you are a service member or a Govt. civilian, Charlene and her team cater to those who serve. I will gladly continue to give my business to Charlene Roy and John L Scott of Yelm, WA. They serve “ALL” of the South Sound, not just Yelm.

Kris was a great realtor, helping us sell our home & purchase a new one, which was about 93 miles away! She drove & accompanied us to see dozens of homes a few times in Longview/Kelso & other places, do the research on these homes, be with us during home inspections. She also helped us during a "sellers' remorse" of one home. She was kind, funny, considerate, knowledgeable about home buying & selling, what prices to bid & more! We highly recommend Kris!

Rick Simpson was the real estate broker that was recommended to me. He is by far the best real estate broker Ive ever worked with. Not only was he very knowledgeable about real estate but he knew the entire loan process and the do’s and don’t’s of what to do during that time. Rick was honest and trustworthy all the way you could say he was the eagle scout of realtors. He was very reliable and always responded promptly to any voice messages as well as emails. He never made me feel pressured in any way even though I had him going from one end to the other of western Washington . I would highly recommend Rick for any of your real estate needs. John L Scott should feel fortunate to have him on their team.

We have rented from many landlords and this group in Yelm is by far some of the best. We needed a property quickly and they went out of their way to show it and get the contract signed. We have needed some maintenance done (all of which out of their control), and the problems have been resolved very quickly, sometimes even the same day. You can tell they take pride in their properties and care about their tenants. If you are looking for a rental, I highly recommend them!
