I cannot adequately put into words how much i appreciate Steven. He is a true professional and a master of his trade. I interviewed 8 realtors to represent me in the selling of my home. Steven's demeanor, presentation and preparedness demonstrated he was the agent I was looking for. Steven's marketing of my property was beyond my expectations. His marketing strategy paid off and my home sold within 24 hours of being active .
I had a very bad experience a few years back with the sale of a property and was filled with anxiety. I told Steven what had happened in the past and he assured me he would not let anything like that happen. True to his word he communicated with me, eased my mind many times and proved I had made the right decision. Steven is a man of his word, and I would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the Raleigh area.

Steven is a gem of a real estate agent. He was thorough, attentive, caring, and above all a fierce advocate for us in the home selling and home buying process. I can't imagine buying or selling a home without Steven's expertise and advice! It truly made an overwhelming process not only manageable, but exciting and rewarding. His depth of knowledge and attention to detail allowed us to dream during the home buying process and enjoy the journey!

As a Raleigh native (harder & harder to find these days), Steven is extremely knowledgeable about the area and a master of his craft. We were considering selling to an iBuyer since we were moving out of state and it would make the process easier, although we would most likely net less from the sale. Steven came extremely prepared to our initial consultation, addressed our concerns, and helped us understand what would be helpful when selling versus what was unnecessary, so that we didn’t overburden ourselves. He responds promptly to client requests and is an all-around great person.

From the initial interview through the closing and even beyond, Steven took a detail oriented and data driven approach to scheduling, pricing, advertising and negotiating. His positivity, energy and love of his craft clearly came through, and he began putting that energy to work from the moment we signed on with him.

He and his team handled everything for our listing and came prepared with a wonderful suite of apps and tools that made scheduling and management of the listing scheduling and paperwork transparent and easy.

The photos, videos, and marketing materials were absolutely top notch, and we were kept informed on everything from listing interest to the activity on digital advertising campaigns.

Even after the sale and closing on our property, Steven and team went above and beyond, continuing to assist us with efforts related to our relocation.

When you didn’t plan to buy a house, you likely didn’t plan to sell a house. That’s the boat we were in — no planning, global pandemic, big dreams. We chose Steven to represent us in listing/selling a home, and purchasing a new home. I cannot tell you how many times we looked at each other and said "Thank God for Steven". Steven's positive attitude, communication, organization, and marketing expertise made the sale of our house A BREEZE. He jumped through hoops and maneuvered around the realities that COVID19 brought to ensure that we felt comfortable and safe with the process, and that everyone stayed healthy. With his guidance, we felt completely in control of all the decisions, but had the confidence along the way based on his advice. With his strategies for listing and marketing, we had an incredibly successful sale...20 offers in 24 hours!! Then Steven was able to walk us through the chaos of evaluating 20 offers (Thank God for Steven), and ultimately choose the right offer for us. Meanwhile, he found us the PERFECT home in a neighborhood we were hoping to get into. He worked EXTRA hard to get us that home, and keep things on track - despite setbacks caused by the seller and seller's agent. He not only kept us organized for what needed to be done, but also the other agent! We know the only reason we are in that home now (on time!) is because of his diligence, attention to detail, knowledge of the entire process, and willingness to fight for us when we needed it! As first time home buyers, Steven was absolutely the best thing that could’ve happened to my husband and I. He meticulously walked us through this exciting but scary time making sure we had all in the information we wanted (and more) and is probably the most responsive/prompt person I’ve ever met. He was very professional yet approachable and easy to talk to and most importantly we truly felt like he was on our side and really trying to get us what we wanted. He sends out a timeline with a checklist of when things need to be taken care of to be able to close on time. It was super helpful and kept us organized. We ended up purchasing a beautiful home in Durham, even during the mess that is Covid 19, without a hitch and in less than a month start to finish. We would 100% recommend him to anyone!

Steven was so great to work with. As this was our first home purchase, Steven did an excellent job walking through the entire home buying process. Steven made a very stressful process very easy to handle and made sure all of the inspections were done thoroughly. During our tours of homes, he did an excellent job pointing out flaws in homes and potential money pits involving crawl spaces, attics, electrical and other areas. He checked in with us daily to keep us in the loop of any new homes that came on or coming on the market. In such a hot market, he did a great job not allowing us just to buy the first home we saw but guided us to the best house for us. I would highly recommend Steven to anyone I know as he is responsive, knows the market and area super well, knows bad homes when he sees one, will look through any crawl space he sees and guides you to the best home for you.

He was extremely insightful and helpful as we toured houses and navigated submitting an offer. We recently sold our house and hired Steven Squires as our realtor. He was amazing! Not only did he sell our house in less than a week, he sold it for more than what 2 other realtors told us we could get for it. He went above and beyond anything I've ever seen from a realtor (including washing our windows when the company we hired didn't meet expectations!). I would never consider buying or selling a house with any other realtor and highly recommend him.
