Sunny & Mike – VA Loan Advocates & Tampa Bay Realtors
They traded rucksacks for real estate signs, but Sunny and Mike’s mission is still service, only now it’s helping families buy and sell homes instead of moving troops.
After graduating from West Point, Sunny served six years as an Army officer, leading soldiers at Fort Bragg and later supporting Gold Star Families and Wounded Warriors at Fort Belvoir. Mike, also a West Point graduate, served 12 years, including multiple combat tours. Along the way, they PCS’d more times than they can count, bought and sold under tight deadlines, and mastered the art of turning a house into a home—fast.
Those experiences shaped their approach to real estate. They understand the stress, excitement, and sometimes the chaos that come with moving, and they’ve built their Tampa Bay real estate practice around making that process smoother for veterans, military families, and anyone seeking a trusted partner.
Sunny and Mike are strong advocates for the VA loan program, often working with local and national leaders to correct misconceptions and expand opportunities for veterans. Their goal: ensure those who served get the benefits they earned and the homes they deserve.
In Tampa Bay, they’re not just Realtors, they’re community builders. Sunny serves on the Rotary and several nonprofit boards supporting veterans, children, and the homeless. Mike is active in the American Legion and in Plant City’s veteran community. Together, their work has earned awards like Broker of the Year, Ambassador for Change, and recognition in the top 2% of Tampa Bay Realtors.
Most importantly, they bring a genuine approach: professional, experienced, and personable (with just enough humor to make contracts and closings feel a little less intimidating). And here’s an insider tip—after years of combat tours, Mike’s hearing isn’t quite what it used to be… which means sometimes Sunny gets the final say without much debate. (She swears she only uses this superpower for good!)
